5 Great Anime That Go From Cute to Dark
These anime shows might make your heart pound with cute anime girls, but once you’re past the first introductory episodes, you’ll realize the show is not what it seems. As the story unravels, you’ll realize the cute and clumsy characters are real psychopaths, and they even make Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) from the 2000s cult classic American Psycho look like a child.

LGBTQ is no longer a theory or an orthodox hoax. Now even the mainstream media is focusing on the necessity of presenting the community to its audience. Eureka Seven Is the Most Underrated Mecha Anime of All Time
The last decade has not been a great one for the mecha genre. The most popular titles of the 2010s have been Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans or the new Evangelion films, but there have been no newer additions to the genre. All of the big titles have been quite old, and very few new ones were released. However, it would be wrong to presume that all of them were below average because they did not get much popularity or attention. Eureka Seven is undoubtedly the best mecha anime of the last decade, but unfortunately, it never got the recognition that it deserves even though it is brilliant.

Anime Equals Part One
This list came to life on its own when someone new to anime asked me if there was anime out there where girls weren’t drawn with their tits hanging out. Blunt way to say it, but it’s true, a majority of anime doesn’t reflect women in a realistic or functional way. More often than not the anime girl is a large-breasted, clumsy, curvaceous wisp of a character that is made to shine a light on the shonen male lead. You can find this trope in shows like Bleach, Naruto or High School of The Dead and in countless other anime.

Bleach: What Prevented Rukia’s Descent to the Dark Side?
Tite Kubo’s Bleach has one of the best character development in the anime/manga. Most of the characters undergo personal tragedy and tough childhood that fundamentally shaped their personalities. Among all these characters, Ruki Kuchiki was unique who faced many tragedies but got over them to become a powerful warrior. Byakuya Kuchiki adopted her because it was her wife’s last wish, and he did not want to let her down. Captain Kuchiki was a law-abiding commander who was so dedicated to ensuring that the law was upheld that he would even sacrifice his loved ones for the sake of proper protocol. However, he later had a heart change, and he learned from Ichigo that family and loved ones mattered more than laws. It was an important moment in Rukia’s life, and it radically changed her fate.
