Climate Change Evidence
Denial is not just a dried up river in Africa. Earth has cooling periods also known as Ice Ages and warming periods, such as the global warming that occurs in 2018. There is much evidence of the existence of global warming. Shells in glacial deposits help scientists decide a “maximum age for the glacier advance.” These shells had been preserved for 14,000 years because of being well preserved. In the past, Britain and Ireland’s winters were very cold. This was in the remote past. Global warming is surely influenced by human activity but it is also part of a natural cycle of weather on this planet.

The Winter Forecast for 2018/19
It was very relieving to read that all 12 Thai boys, along with their soccer coach, were successfully rescued from their harrowing ordeal being trapped in a flooded cave! Even Elon Musk went to lend a mini-sub and help work out rescue plans. The Discovery Channel is planning a documentary on the rescue of all 13 people, OPERATION THAI CAVE RESCUE. The coach and 12 boys became trapped during an on-foot exploration of Tham Luang Cave in Northern Thailand after it flooded. They were lost for 10 days until they were located. Amazingly, all were still alive and successfully rescued! The only casualty was Thai NAVY Seal who perished while setting up oxygen tanks along a rescue tunnel. When the most experienced divers lose their life, you can see why it took several more days to initiate a successful rescue. Not all the boys could swim, but each of the 13 had two divers as escort. Not to mention a blessing from a famous Buddhist Monk. In groups of four, they had to swim underwater for two miles, in sometimes murky water. A water pump, and oxygen, had been set up. They were simultaneously pumping water out of the cave, and pumping oxygen in so the 'Lost Boys' could breathe. Just as the rescue ended, the rescue teams water pump failed. Thailand's Monsoon Season had just started, and the Monsoon waters they managed to keep at bay flooded back in.

What the Rising Levels Mean for California
Rising sea levels would impact California’s sea level areas such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Mountain View. A third and two-thirds of California’s beaches will be wiped out from rising sea levels. Beach towns could utterly disappear in the next century if we do not check our greenhouse emissions from cars, and planes. The loss of beaches will affect California’s economic future. Infrastructures such as the San Francisco and Oakland airports will be affected by the rising sea levels. California’s communities by the sea do not necessarily experience extreme flooding like Florida but it could start happening.

Life and Production: S2 E8: The Year Ahead
Lords of Change The upcoming fiscal year brought promise. Lesane Laboratories had opened up its new sites in Paris and Tel Aviv. The grand opening ceremonies ushered in sense of accomplishment in Trevor Lesane and Zev Tal. It was Tal’s ingenuity and purpose which spearheaded the launch of Lesane Laboratories. His fiscal know how would prove invaluable to Lesane. His initial investment of five hundred million dollars marked a precedence for the then fledgling enterprise. Lesane would be the first one to tell anyone that he had erred in business prior to seeking Tal for an investment. His focus was on discoveries in his then modest laboratory that he had fashioned out of left overs and hand-me-downs from other laboratories. Some time before conducting business with Tal, Lesane had invested in a company called ChemiDei. This firm’s motto was “Lords of change.” And change came with speed in their case as the CEO was caught embezzling funds in the amount of $30 million. Lesane lost so much money that he considered stopping his dream of running his own laboratory and maybe teach as Saffron does.

'Solo: A Star Wars Story'
It is no mystery that Disney is not happy with its most recent film in the "Anthology Series", Solo: A Star Wars Story, but is the movie actually bad? Does it deserve the criticism or the hate? To be fair it did not receive nearly as much hate as The Last Jedi did after release with an Audience score of 46% (Rotten Tomatoes), although TLJ did receive a 91% from critics. Solo, respectively, also received lower audience scores compared to critics with critics giving it a 71% and audiences giving it a 64%. So what we see here is that critics loved TLJ, generally "liked" Solo and Audiences haven't been happy with either of them, but Solo did do better. Now what does all of this mean and what does that leave for the future of Star Wars?

Life and Production: S2 E7: A Carol of Virtues
The Wonders of the Season Symphony Lesane never believed in Santa Claus. Yes, she knew the story. And yes she viewed all of the myriad movies which showcased the both adored and maligned fictitious fat man. Her take was simple; she knew that if she were a good girl, that she would receive presents under the tree. Trevor and Saffron Lesane had both instilled in their children the knowledge that their presents must be earned. So when their first child, Preston, discovered that some of the other children in his kindergarten class anticipated a globetrotting gift giver to slide down their chimneys, he laughed to himself. The Lesane’s viewed the entire Christmas season as a joyous time to express goodwill towards man and carry on a sense of mirth. At the dual level mall in New Castle County, The family of four left Pappy napping to go holiday shopping. They took in the wonders of the season. Ice skaters glided. Face painters drew snowflakes on faces of children a little younger than Symphony. As they approached the main department store Seline’s. Just as they crossed the area separating the stores from the others, the lights dimmed and went out in total.

Pluto Is a Planet
Pluto was declassified as a planet on August 24, 2006. It was reclassified as a dwarf planet. The claim is that there are eight planets now and that Neptune is now the farthest planet from the Sun. The reasons for this change, however, are not founded on correct reasoning.

'Sense8' - What a Cluster
Sometimes as we find out in life, there are rules that need breaking. Now I'm not necessarily talking about breaking the law, however, I am talking about the social norms, the constructs that keep us confined in our own little space. Now if you haven't seen Sense8, I very highly recommend that you watch it, but for those of you that have, you know that this show does nothing but challenge these rules of society. Kieran's Revenge
Kieran's Revenge The midday sun beat down relentlessly on the body strewn battlefield as soldiers from each side retrieved the bodies of their fallen comrades for burial, burning, or whatever funerary rites their respective gods demanded of them. Flies buzzed over the bloated bodies, their incessant droning filling the ears of the men. The stench from the sun baked field was tremendous, and those that were unlucky enough to pull this horrible duty wore plague masks, the long snouts stuffed with fragrant flowers. This did little to cover the smell of the dead and dying, and many men retched and gagged as they went along their task.
