Don't Touch a Pagan's Magickal Tools
Pagans are protective of their tools. Athames, and sickles for one, they protect with their lives. Do not touch a pagan’s tool when in their house. Touching a pagan’s tools infects them with energy, so don’t touch a pagan’s tools without their permission. I know somebody in my family’s household who threw out all my mirrors, which were magickal tools. They also threw out my medals, once again, magickal tools. All of this happened without my permission. Once again, ask permission, because somebody was poking around through my altar. Tools are used to change the fabric of reality with our will.

Looking Forward to 'Star Wars: The Rule of Two' Trilogy
Recently, while out to dinner with a friend of my wife's—and in turn a friend of my own I suppose—I had the sheer pleasure of discussing the train wreck that was Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi. Between rants about incompetent leaders, ridiculously rogue plans, misleading epic fight scenes that culminated in disappointment and very serious questions about nuclear fusion engines and momentum in a frictionless environment, we came to one perfect conclusion: we can not wait for Star Wars IX: The One That Got Away, to release. With only one good reason why: so that Star Wars fans could get the trilogy of movies they deserve.

Love Is in the Hair
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past six months, I’m sure you are aware of the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. We figured this would be the perfect opportunity to discuss the inheritance of ginger hair. After all, there is no subject more important than the possible hair colour of their non-existent baby!

Kelly Marie Tran, Rose Tico from 'The Last Jedi,' Speaks Out. Top Story - August 2018.
There are two feelings that you somehow can't forget: being excluded and feeling as though you're somehow "less than." According to #TheLastJedi's Kelly Marie Tran, who played maintenance worker Rose Tico, that feeling that she was somehow "other" was one that she thought was left behind her long ago. According to an essay she wrote for TheNew York Times, it was when she became a target for online trolls that these long-buried feelings came back to the surface. That was when she made the decision to delete her Instagram account.

Home? (Part 6)
The paper sits in front of me, as dangerous as a hungry lion. My hand is shaking, not letting the pen sign neatly. I don't want to do this. I don't know what I'm getting myself into, but it must be something truly dangerous if we are not allowed to read the clauses of said document. The President is sitting there, fiercely looking at each one of us, especially me. Does he know me? Has he seen us exploring in that basement? I look over to Max, who gazes back at me for a second and then puts his name on the signing line. He drops the pen on the table and leans back, as if this was the most relaxing day of his entire life. I roll my eyes and let out a small sigh and leave the writing tool on the table. I simply sit straight, looking at the wall in front of me, to avoid making any eye contact with our governor. The time is up and the Invigilators gather themselves around us and ensure that all the papers have signatures on them. Unfortunately, one girl has refused to sign it. She begins sobbing, despite her attempts to show some strength. They instantly pull her out of the chair with impressive force and drag her along the room until she's outside. The door closes and I'm sure we'll never see her again. I can hear her screams fade with every step her guards take to put her somewhere else, hidden from the rest of us. I wonder if she'll simply be punished or killed? The thought makes me shiver and makes me feel a hundred times worse. Just like everyone in the spaceship, I've done nothing. I've sat there, watching the whole scene unfold, how violence has filled the air, and, instead of protecting her, I've let her go. Fear is truly dividing.

A Tale of Two Hoods Chapter 2
“Did mosquitoes ever sleep?” he wondered. There were creatures who rose with the sun every morning, their strength fueled by that golden orb’s warmth. There were fiends of the night, monsters and demons and animals who prowled the darkness. There were even beasts who slept through the winter, their eyes shut against the cold and barren world. Even Maugoru needed rest, or so Adrian assumed. Insects did not sleep. The first frost of each year pushed the bugs onto new courses for warmer weather and smothered those left behind. On nights like this, in the middle of summer, it was easy to forget that men and women ruled this world. For, when they fell silent, the ever present bug buzz held dominion over the land. It was this buzzing that nudged Adrian back into his senses, nightmares of the burning forest replaced by the soft light of the Rangers’ medical house.
