Clockworks Chronicles of Zahn
14) Night Hunt John Wingate was walking along the dark street on his way back to the old Calador manor house where he was staying. He was taking in a bit of the nightlife of Grandeur City. In other words, he was a bit inebriated. However, not so much he didn’t feel he was being tracked. So, he pretended to stumble into an alley to relieve himself. He waited, drawing his sword cane.

The venom
That was a stormy winter evening and I was enjoying hospitality of a strange host in a small village, surrounded by sky-kissing mountains from all sides. Screaming wind was hitting the broken windows letting the chilly air inside the hut. The clutter of the lose-hinged door was enough to freeze blood in my veins. Hoos of stranded owls outside in the wood pierced through my ears, creating ripples of fear in my already fainting heart. The fireplace in the corner was dimly aflame with hay wood which sprinkled burning meteors on its sides after intervals.

Empty
I am waking up to see empty places. Empty stores & empty cars. As if stuck in a movie with no way to change the channel. I walk along with the sounds of air with no interruptions and a feeling of awe. As if to be meditating while in motion. Less and less are visible, and more of the same is contextual. Trees sway and leave change while the seasons move naturally.

CHAMELEON
Numbers, like autumn leaves, fall away from my memory and float on currents in and out of my mind. The motionless man sat quietly in the white, diagnostic room unaware that two psychiatrists, Dr. Ann Majec and Dr. Paul Castlewood, made notes in the observation room above him. Numbers, like autumn leaves decay and disintegrate in mute shadows of memory…. The silent man was Dr. Majec’s patient and requested Ann to be present when he slipped into stasis, the stage between his present self and the next one – a dangerous stage when he neglected all human functions, not because he refused to eat, sleep or eliminate, but because he didn’t know he existed. In the past, when he emerged from the ‘in-between’ he never knew whom he left behind or what the key and address in his jacket pocket belonged to.

How Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Homaged The Franchise's Most Iconic FIght
While fans thought Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi was the most divisive entry in the Skywalker Saga since Attack of the Clones, that was nothing compared to J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Despite criticisms the ninth (and final) entry was thrown together as a desecration of the franchise, one potential Easter egg confirms it was more than just Babu Frik and creepy kisses.
