She had an excited smile on her face, the joy lighting up her face and making her seem younger then her age really is. The vibrant hue of her dark eyes showed a sort of animation in her that his missed, it brought back memories of when she would scald him for calling her Mouse, but it always brought out that fiery spirit.

Rubbing her forehead with a small moan, she regrets acting ambassador so much. Soo fucking much. "What exactly did they want with their figure head?" Jeremy leans close, looming over her as he chuckled lowly "they want a strong figurehead who's able to get the point across about the fire power that can be used for the neutral faction. Someone unashamed to spearhead the organized movements."

Darkness
The darkness envelops me as I sit along the edge of the lake. Wolves howl in the distance and though I wish to join their mournful song, I refraim from doing so and allow them to mourn in peace. Their pack Alpha has passed and I will miss the old wolf. The pack has shared their territory with me for many generations but it never gets old mourning an a friend. I shake my head and look up at the full moon. Stars twinkle in the back ground of it's shining glory. I enjoy the sight for awhile longer before I decide to head back to my own den.

As I finished this article I watched as the weather doused the hopes of a much hyped and historic Elon Musk/SpaceX launch to carry NASA astronauts to the ISS. I realized later that the whole event was a metaphor for exactly what I'm writing about here - that despite the best plans laid for projecting our wills into space, unforeseen and chaotic circumstances can render them all for naught, so it's best to have a B plan.
