There Is More to Life Than You Realize
Life is all about wisdom. Many of us possess a broad intellect of knowledge about the world. We realize what’s possible as individuals and although a majority of people don’t have everything they wish for, at least have an intellectual knowledge of it. They recognize what goes on and they understand what’s applicable. There is, however, a vast contrast between intellectual knowledge and trial and error.

African Myths of Origin
“African Myths of Origin” is a book that concerns the different regions of Africa, their creation stories and theme-based narratives. Themes of hunting, food, humanity, morality, death and dying, the Gods, supernatural ability, war and battle, masculinity vs. femininity and others prove that these stories are not only well-written and sophisticated but also prove that these narrators understand the very essences of human existence. Along with the ability to make it into an entertaining narrative, a lot of these stories echo and almost Biblical experience of life. The outline of the book is to treat these historical stories as a part of a geographical location and an entire population of people. The most notable thing is how all of these themes link together to make a narrative that contains a teaching, a tale and characters who are relatable to any time and place. As the narrative states on the theme of hunting: “the original human lifestyle is foraging mixed with hunting.” (p.3). Thus showing that the nature of humans looking for food is not only important thematically to the stories, but is also a quintessential part to every human no matter upon place, time etc. Past, present and future, humans will always require food to survive and this is only one of the bases of human existence that is seen in the book.

Pandemic
Dead grass and weeds fill the yards of suburban houses. Vines and shrubbery wrap around whitewash fences. A garage door creaks open a tall man in a white hazmat suit runs with two white bags towards a blue trash bin. The man stops for a moment, throws the trash in the container, and presses a button on the lid, and it incinerates. Burnt plastic fills the air with its toxic odor. He then hurries back in the garage and slams the door shut. Sweat beads off the man’s bald head as he pulls off the hazmat helmet.

After The End
Like colors giving life to art, the memories painted a life for September that she had forgotten. Lines became images that became life, a life that she had lived and left behind. The pain and hatred she had abandoned came to greet her. It wrapped itself around her until she absorbed it all. The anguish she felt learning that her partner had been captured. The fear she hid away at the thought of death. The pain she endured as she watched him suffer. The anger she used to get to King Cassander and kill him. Then with out warning it had all been stripped away from her. She had been given a new name and a new life. The memories stored away until she would be needed again.

The eulogy of the bastard bear
A primitive hunter walks through the forest as glimmers of sunset guided by leaves through the treetop canopy light his way like embers are guided by the campfire. As a nearby river rages, creating a gentle murmur, the hunter listens as robins and cardinals in the canopy tune their songs to it. The hunter carries nothing but clothes made from animal hides, a spear with which he catches his meals. And his next meal, a rabbit he caught earlier that day but hadn’t prepared to cook yet. He examines the forest floor for evidence of more animal life. As he's tracking he notices the footprints of a bear. The primitive man understands this and readies his spear.
