To Understand Descartes
To understand Descartes’ Meditations, one must be aware of the time period that he wrote these philosophy analyses. He sought to undermine Aristotelian thought (the majority of knowledge comes from the senses). While he, on the other hand, unfolds his own assertion that knowledge comes from the mind. In the first and second meditations he thoroughly discards all belief that could be doubted and thus comes to the conclusion that thought is the essential action that allows and determines the world around us. In other words, we must know more about our mind than the world around us, rather than analyzing the world. He also proves why one must analyze the mind and how one could do this.

Check Out These New Looks at Lightsabers Belonging to Yoda, Anakin, and More!
"That lightsaber was Luke's. And his father's before him. And now, it calls to you." When Rey held what was once Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber for the first time, audiences everywhere were aware of its history. After all, it was the first lightsaber that we ever saw, when Luke wielded it in A New Hope. The lightsaber was groundbreaking at the time, a weapon unlike any that audiences had ever seen. Now, over three decades later, we have seen a myriad of lightsaber variations, from Darth Maul's double-bladed red lightsaber in The Phantom Menace, to Ahsoka Tano's two shorter sabers featured in The Clone Wars, to Kylo Ren's crossguard lightsaber first seen in The Force Awakens.

In the Beginning
Most mornings Eve woke to the memory of walking across the fog dusted freshly cut grass, the sunrise muffled behind waves of clouds. The punch of the breeze battling the humidity made her eyes water, and the leaves swayed in a hushed hiss. She remembered the warmth of steaming coffee pressed against her lips, as she listened to her father play soft melodies at the piano bench. She recalled breathing the air of warm water drops cascading from the shower head and the quiet light that sung through the windows. She relished the scent of rain beating against warm pavement, the simplicity in the joy that rainbows brought. She missed the days she spent peacefully cloud deciphering and the nights she spent wistfully star gazing.

from the Moon
Ever since I was little, the Moon has been watching over me. My childhood home had a big backyard with outdoor furniture. There was no air conditioning so in the summer nights, I would go out to lay under the stars and talk with the moon until I fell asleep. The Moon would send me a light breeze and shine her light on me so gently.

Could Nibiru be the elusive Planet X?
Having watched many episodes of the Ancient Aliens television series and read up on the theories of Russian-American author Zecharia Sitchin, I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt for the moment and accept the Anunnaki may have been an actual civilisation living on earth and mining for gold at the time of the Sumerian and Meso-American peoples.

On the Hunt For the Next Supernova
How do you actually find a supernova - and what is that anyway? A supernova is a dying star. Observing such an event from Earth is difficult and requires robust computer programs. However, this does not apply to this extraordinary man.

The Age Of Aquarius
After watching a video update by The Leo King, David Palmer, he said something that really struck me. He said that the influences today are similar to those back in 1996. I gave this a good amount of thought because it relates to what I’ve been feeling in a lot of different ways. I feel that the collective unconscious is going through this same transformation now.

The Groovy Pig
The pig was groovy. Excellent. He was born with big, long rabbit ears. All the other pigs on the farm were typical, with regular ears. But they had to keep hearing bees buzzing. Up from the ground. The farmer was raising them. They pollinated his hops.
