What if we have two suns
There are sunsets on other planets even more spectacular than the ones on Earth. What if we could see not just one, but two suns falling below the Earth’s horizon? Would our planet get much warmer with two stars heating it up? Would we ever experience nighttime again? Could our binary star system be able to sustain life?

Mars in Retrograde 2020
The Martian Based on the novel that was self-published in 2011 by its author Andy Weir, 'The Martian' was adapted by Drew Goddard to screenplay. Released in 2015, the movie was directed by Ridley Scott and stars Matt Damon as the first human ever to colonize Mars. Jumping ahead to the year 2035, Botanist and Astronaut Mark Watney is left behind after a mission to Mars abruptly ends. He survives alone on Mars for 549 Sols (which totals 564 Earth days) with only the left behind belongings of his crew and very little food supply. Some of those belongings is in the form of human waste, so Mark gets creative and fertilizes the first known Martian potato farm until NASA can figure out how to rescue him.

Review of 'Amazing Stories (2020)' 1.2: The Heat
Life after death stories -- the departed coming back to help, haunt, or otherwise interact with the living -- are a dime a dozen. Amazing Stories' (2020) second episode, "The Heat," manages to visit this well-trodden path with a story that is at least somewhat original, even if that originality relies upon yet another very well-worn gambit in fiction.

Star Trek Day's 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Panel Promises A More Episodic Approach
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is something that a lot of fans are very much looking forward to seeing. When Star Trek: Discovery brought the franchise back to television after a 12-year absence from the small screen, some of the reception was mixed. For some, it was a breath of fresh air and innovative storytelling for the franchise. However, there were some who did not like that the show felt darker at certain points. There were fans who longed for something brighter and more hopeful.

Daisy Ridley now has been involved with Star Wars for over five years and has seen the best and worst sides of the Star Wars fandom as a whole. We all have seen the backlash to The Rise of Skywalker online. George Lucas Urged Dave Filoni To "Go Faster" On Set Of 'The Mandalorian' Season 2
Even though George Lucas sold Lucasfilm, and by extension Star Wars, to Disney in October 2012, he has still popped up every once in a while as further live-action projects were made. Famously, he was not very involved with the sequel trilogy, though J.J. Abrams did talk about having a discussion about the Force with George as The Rise of Skywalker was being made. In terms of being physically present on the set of a film, however, we know that George visited the sets of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Star Wars Story. For the latter, he gave the suggestion that Han would just leave a coat lying on the floor rather than pick it up.

Star Trek Day's 'Star Trek: Discovery' Panel Provides Glimpse Of What's To Come In Season 3
For Star Trek Day (September 8 since that is the date that the first released episode “The Man Trap” aired in 1966), fans were treated to an all-day marathon as well as a few virtual panels. One of these panels was focused on Star Trek: Discovery, which ushered in a new Star Trek renaissance after 12 years of the franchise being off of the small screen (though there were three films, in the meantime). Seasons 1 and 2 took place prior to The Original Series, but at the end of season 2, the Discovery crew was thrust to the future. The panel touched upon this time period, even releasing the trailer below:

First Images From 'The Mandalorian Season 2' Feature Gina Carano and Carl Weathers
Star Wars fans are very hyped for The Mandalorian season 2, which is premiering on October 30 on Disney+. With the season ever-approaching, many fans have been expecting and asking for a season 2 trailer. Personally, I would be totally fine if no trailer were released at all. People would likely still watch. And anyway, I do not even remember the season 1 trailer.

Self-mummification: Sokushinbutsu
We are all aware of the mummies of Egypt, and we are always wondering how the Egyptians were so much progress with medical science. But there was a practice of self-mummification amongst the Buddhist monks till the 19th century until Japan made it illegal. The Sokushinbutsu process is as it sounds, no other hand is needed to mummify the dead body. The person who wants to undergo such a process brings on him a harsh routine and strict diet along with a drink of poisonous tea.

Virtual Tour Available for Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities from 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge'
It has been a little over a year since the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort. This section allowed Star Wars fans the experience to go to a place that feels like it exists within the Star Wars galaxy, giving them the opportunity to pilot the Millennium Falcon, purchase items that have been seen within the franchise, or simply drink blue or green milk. Even though the planet Batuu had not been featured within the films, it felt like a place straight out of the films. It helped that some fans became more familiar with Batuu via books and comics.
