Mark Hamill Comparing The U.S. Presidents To The Original Trilogy Titles
Everyone who knows Star Wars well enough knows Mark Hamill's iconic role as Luke Skywalker. They may also be familiar with his sense of humor, which was more present within the character at certain points in The Last Jedi. So it is probably not so surprising that, last weekend, he shared a meme that includes images of the past two US presidents and the incoming president, with each face accompanied by a different title from the original trilogy.

Greef Karga Actor Carl Weathers Directed This Episode Of 'The Mandalorian'
Many TV shows will have multiple directors per season or throughout the entire show. Bringing Star Wars into the TV show/streaming world has allowed for multiple directors to be attached to the series in a fashion similar to other TV shows. So far, many episodes throughout The Mandalorian have been directed by different people. Because of this, Lucasfilm is able to infuse new voices to bring differing perspectives, ideas, and thought processes to the franchise all while spreading their umbrella of talent in an effort to create an amazing show. Having multiple directors helps the show not get too stale as it brings in new twists or methods of telling a story with every episode.

Check Out This Baby Yoda Pop Figure From 'The Mandalorian'
The Mandalorian is a hit new (well, relatively new, as it has been out for a year now) Star Wars TV show currently airing on Disney+. One of the main characters of the show, and now proving to be one of the most popular, despite the character not really having a proper name, is “The Child,” a young alien of Yoda's species. Incorrectly and immaturely named “Baby Yoda” by social media, it was inevitable that pop vinyls and other merchandise of The Child would appear sooner or later. Now Funko have revealed their latest figure: a depiction of The Child with the egg canister, from The Mandalorian season 2's “Chapter 10: The Passenger.”

It had been about two months since I met and started teaching Samuel how to read. I was impressed by how quickly he picked things up, though it was surprising that no one in his old community wanted to teach him this stuff. History is the one thing we can learn from, thus a necessary thing to remember. But maybe it was that they did not see the reason to since so much of the population had been wiped out. Maybe they had lost hope for the future of humans, and learning to read and write was the last thing on their minds.

Seeing Growth as a Process
Several trends have led me to think about the topic of this article. The first, and most practical, is the ongoing effort to advance the artificial life form (ai) to human emotional intelligence. To that end, I have gone so far as to suggest that we are not necessarily correct in our fundamental definitional distinction between organic and inorganic, living and non-living. That distinction is just another one of our series of ongoing efforts to convice ourselves that we are better than others.

Wu Song Kills a Tiger
A large man of around a single score of years travelled the perilous mountain ridge carrying a sturdy wooden staff and a bag filled with necessities for travel. He was strong and quick, having trained in the martial arts for most of his life. The hour was growing late and the sun had set when he came across a sign on the narrow ridge:

How to measure Intelligence
Since the early days of humanity the notion of intelligence has been one of the most elusive and controversial. From ancient times until today there have been many different approaches on what constitutes intelligence and what makes an individual intelligent. Initially some pointed out a correlation between intelligence and education, although today it is evident that education has no direct correlation to intelligence. Others have considered intelligence connected to educability and making the most out of their education, shifting the importance to the person genetic predisposition. Others have defined intelligence as the ability of good judgement and logical reasoning. Despite the specific nature of the context of intelligence, which is still today under question, what remains is the importance of intelligence and consequently the ever existing need to measure it.

Battle of the Bloodline
The morning coffee rush was over and it began to die down before the lunch rush would set in about an hour from now. I grabbed a rag and the bottle of cleaner from under the counter by the sink and began to wipe off the counter space and the spilled caramel syrup that got all over a stack of lids we had stored by the espresso machine. I began wiping down the sides of the metal machine when Rachel handed me a cup to start on the next order. White Chocolate Mocha. My favorite. It was my favorite to make too.

God's Right Hand
Azriel sighed as she kneeled at the altar steps, looking up at the ceiling, uncertain of whether God had abandoned her for falling in love or had he abandoned all of his children alike. Tears streamed down her face, thinking of things God had once said to her. She was the closest to him, his right hand, and although he loved all of his children, she was the one constantly at his side, until he disappeared, leaving her to wander the earth and the heavens aimlessly, no task at hand and wondering what she might have done wrong.
