The Planets & Their Mythology: The Sun
What is the Sun? The Sun is the center of our solar system, the star that all the other planets revolve around. It's a giant ball of light, heat, and energy. In astrology, it represents our conscious ego or perhaps a better word would be self, since "ego," has a negative connotation and the Sun is where we shine. It is our core and it's placement in our birth chart shows how we express ourselves.

The Edge of Night
Chapter 1 The moon hung in the sky as a sentinel watching the lonely countryside below. Aelhar crouched in a small grove with thickets on each side of him watching the barely perceptible trail below. It was a trail rarely traveled by ordinary folks. Aelhar was a part of an organization known as the Dark Watch of the Kingdom of Aepsalon. The Dark Watch had many layers, the watchmen in each town, village and hamlet, vales, the watchers located in watch towers between the towns, villages, and hamlets, vales, and farmsteads. The next layer were the foresters and wardens who were assigned to the woods and forests of the kingdom. Aelhar was a first-class forester and his mentor and friend Vordecai was his warden. Vordecai had several foresters in his ward. The last layer were the rangers who watched and defended the borders of the kingdom.

The Light Side of 2020. Second Place in Thankful Thoughts Challenge.
What I am most thankful for this year is the single word that Princess Leia spoke in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The Rebel Alliance had just suffered huge losses at the Battle of Scarif. But the hard-fought-for piece of intelligence that was passed into Princess Leia's hands gave all the freedom fighters hope for a coming victory.

Chapter 4 - Acquiescence
Chapter 4 - Malthen 1 The blood crusted pelt of a northern squirrel is not so rough as the hardened leather into which it will be fashioned. It is not so rough as the whip or shackle it may become. Most of the men meandering through Kitford’s sunset market have never felt the rasp and sting of either, but I remember both all too well. Only six short months have passed since I slipped the noose of bondage, and already I perpetuate the system - selling hide to the tanner. Ironic how fate reminds you of your place. The free world is marvelous, however, and I will not let fate keep me from tonight’s revelries. It is rumored that an official of house Carsus is visiting with this small town’s mayor today, and that means celebration. In all my time with Pa Grayson, the family never missed an opportunity to celebrate exotic company. For better or for worse, the expansive continent which lies outside the Grayson house is revealing itself to be much like what lies inside. Perhaps, people are the same all over the world. I have only begun my travels, but I intend to personally investigate this notion.

'And In Came Riding A Pale Horse'
“ When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name of Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.” –Revelation 6:7-8; NASB.

The Darksaber Lightsaber Has Been 2020’s MOST HATED Toy Of The Year
The Darksaber has become an iconic weapon in the Star Wars universe. First introduced in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, nobody back then could have guessed that it would end up on the first live-action Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian (after it had appeared again on Star Wars Rebels). It is a lightsaber with its own lore and history by this point. Strong characters have wielded it thus far. When Moff Gideon emerged from the TIE Fighter wielding it, even casual fans of the franchise could tell that this was a dangerous weapon. Well, shoppers may want to keep that in mind as they consider Star Wars themed gifts to acquire.
