Gemini Season

Look at you, Gemini. Just look at you. Either you’re conquering the world by the sheer force of your personality, or you’re laying on the couch in a fetal position with an empty can of chocolate frosting by your head. How did it get this way? How does it always get this way?

Let’s be clear about one thing here, there are plenty of intense people in the world. Understood. People who are driven, passionate, confounding, intoxicating, curious, arrogant. But there’s a huge difference between “intense” and “Gemini intense.” It’s not only a matter of degree, it’s a matter of kind, like the difference between a spring rain and a Category 5 hurricane.

But this year, Gemini, the stars are aligning in your favor, and it looks like your predilection for going to extremes on a daily (hourly) basis won’t be the catastrophe-in-the-making that it usually is. “Gemini intense” is actually going to be your friend this time, and that’s going to be especially true immediately after your birthday.

You know that Summer is usually vacation time for most people, right, a time to kick back and take it easy? A quiet, reflective time when you contemplate big things and analyze the wonder of life’s rich pageant? Yeah . . . that ain’t happening for you, Gemini. Right after your birthday, Gemini, it’s Blast-Off Time.

Whatever big projects you’ve been holding out on, whatever risky move or tricky personal decisions you’ve been putting off, Gemini, it is time to put the pedal to the metal. Your chances of recouping a High Reward for your High Risk will be at their zenith through Independence Day. This will be particularly apparent in your professional life and career, but there will also be a window for strengthening your private relationships as well, particularly with family members.

The arc of your astrological year will be heavily weighted by the intensity of your summer activity, and it won’t be until nearly the start of the holidays before you have a chance to catch your breath. So whatever you choose to devote your energies to this summer, choose wisely—it’s gonna be the dominating force for your entire year.

And when you do take a breath, you might want to check in on your spouse/love interest and see how they’re holding up. Odds are pretty good you may have bruised some feelings along the mad-rush of your focused activity during the summer and autumn, and it’s probably a good time to take some time off. But don’t worry, Gemini, your spouse/love interest isn’t going to freak out too much about your obsessive nature—they’ve been hip to you for quite a while.

If there’s a trouble spot on your calendar, it’s probably going to be in Early Spring of 2022. All that crazy, daring energy you felt in the summer, well, you’re gonna need to put that on ice. Especially with regards to financial matters, you’re gonna need to steer clear of anything that contains even a modicum of risk. I know it’s impossible to get a Gemini to “chill”—Geminis don’t really come with a “chill” setting—but it’s still the best way to end a cool year on a high note.
