Equal
Be careful what you wish for.
"We come from a country that was built on inequality. White people that thought they were superior to colored people enslaved them. This country was built on the backs of those slaves. Since then black people have been freed but have definitely not been equal. We've lived for many years lying about the equality in this country. We've lived off of the narrative that everyone in this country has equal opportunity. That no matter what race, creed, or religion you are that you can be whatever you want to be in this country. Yet ten years ago we went through the greatest depression of all time. During my candidacy I pushed for equality. I pushed for equal rights. Not only for social equality but also for financial equality. Once I became president I stood on everything that I've said and look where we are now.
They said eliminating welfare wouldn't work. They said the tax raises on the wealthy wouldn't work. They said that the business loans and mortgage approvals for everyone wouldn't work. They said high minimum wages wouldn't work. They said the wiping out of all debt across the country wouldn't work. They said free education wouldn't work. Yet here we are. In my eight years I ended the depression. In my eight years homelessness is almost non existent. In my eight years we have eliminated unemployment. There is little to no crime here. We are living in a thriving Utopian society. Everyone has everything that they need. We are truly equal. Therefore even though our constitution calls for my removal from office I see no need for a new regime. There's no need to change anything that's going on in this country. There's no need for politics. We have reached the mountaintop and this is where we need to stay!"
"Do you think that speech is going to work?"
"Honey who is going to run against me? What is going to be their campaign? Everything that I said was true. The United States is thriving. Everyone has everything that they need."
"And you should know as well as anyone, that's not enough. You've been a great husband for 30 years and yet we were headed for a divorce a few years back because I wanted more. We've been excellent parents in my opinion. Although our son is here and very appreciative our daughter hasn't spoken to us in quite some time. You've been a great president and a great leader and you're right that everyone in the United States has everything that they need. I'm just saying that there may be some people out there that want more. Sam Kennison is one of them and I think that you may be underestimating his following."
"Sam Kennison is a fool. Anyone that follows him is just as foolish as he is! I'm not afraid of Sam Kennison. I'm untouchable, I have saved the country and soon the entire world will follow suit. I am like God to these people right now."
"Yes and even god has a devil on the other side."
"Hello, my name is Samuel Kennison. I am the grandson of Maxwell Kennison the founder of the Maxlife association. Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy about everything that our president has done. I'm not complaining at all about the society that we live in. No poverty, no crime everyone having what they need to live. All of that is great. Equality is great but is it fair?
Let's first examine the road that it took to get us here. My grandfather came from nothing and worked his ass off to get generational wealth for his family. Then I worked my ass off to make sure I kept that generational wealth. After all of my grandfather's hard work and after all of my hard work I had to give up a good portion of that wealth. I had to share that wealth with families that weren't mine. It was for the betterment of the world. It was for equality, but was it fair? Wealth that was earned and was worked hard by me to maintain was given away. Given to people that had to be forced to work. People who fought hard and protested to keep welfare just so that they didn't have to work hard. All they did was take away one handout and give them another.
So let me get this straight. You use my hard earned money to secure mortgage loans for people who otherwise couldn't get them. Then you help them pay for them by forcing other wealthy business owners to pay them well beyond their worth. Then even after that you have to still force them to do it by taking away their free ride. Does that sound like equality? Does that sound fair?
I said this ten years ago and I was called selfish, privileged, entitled and even racist. Yet at the same time I was doing everything that I could to help with the depression. Maxlife was in the red for almost three years and yet I fired no one. During that time I even opened up a new office in a poor neighborhood and employed 300 people from that neighborhood. I donated to schools and hospitals. I was told that was the least I could do. Our nation was suffering. On the brink of destruction. We all had to do our part to save it and Trevor Johnson was leading the way.
He was a great leader too. In his eight years of leadership his plan worked. He's not only gotten us out of the depression but he's given us this utopia. He's our savior. Now he's preaching this not broken don't fix it narrative. He's trying to convince the people that there is no need for a new regime. That it's in the best interest of our country to just ignore the rules of the presidency. To say forget about the constitution and just to allow him to stay in power. Does that sound fair to you? Does that sound equal?
Now like I said I've been called selfish and racist for my opinion. But let me ask you former poor people and you minorities a question. Do you feel equal? Think about it for a second. Yeah you all can afford nice housing and decent cars. Yeah you all can afford to pay your bills and go on vacations. But can you live in my house? Don't you still have to go to work everyday? I know the new law doesn't allow me to hire servants directly. But if you work for the agency don't you still have to cook my dinner and clean my house? Can I not still turn my nose up at you if I want?
We're not living in a utopian society for real. We have been drugged and one day the high will wear off and we'll come back to reality. The reality of the fact that all people can never be equal. There is always going to be differences in status. The reality that racism isn't over. That someone's racism will eventually show it's ugly head and others will follow suit. The reality that there are other wealthy people who feel the same way that I do and will not be as civil about it. The reality that one day your wants will start to be more than your needs. It's all human nature. We need a leader prepared to handle these problems when the time comes and believe me they will!"
"Honey did you see Sam's rebuttal to your speech?"
"Of course I did."
"Well did you notice the fact that he'd gotten a standing ovation afterwards from thousands of people in attendance."
"Yeah and so what!"
"So I think it's over for us. I don't think they are going to allow us to stay in office."
"So you think that they're going to tear down everything that I built! That they're going to vote in another man and destroy our great future."
"I'm not saying that our future would be destroyed. I'm just saying that maybe someone else would be put into power that's all."
"Yeah somebody like Sam Kennison who's going to want to put the so-called elite back on top?"
"Not necessarily Sam just not you. Mitchell could win the election. He'll for sure keep the status quo don't you think?"
"Mitchell is a puppet. Anybody can control him if I'm not around. He was a ploy. I got him from the hood. I knew that he desperately wanted what I was offering so he was going to do and say anything I wanted him too. I knew that all of the poverty stricken communities would rally around him. I never planned for him to ever have real power. What the hell does a no good nigga from the hood know about running the country?"
"So who do you suggest should run?"
"What do you not get! No one is running! I've saved this country and ultimately I plan on saving the world!"
"They're not going to let you."
"No they're not going to stop me!"
"They're not going to have to. It's the law!"
"I'm the law! I have enough people behind me that love the life I've given them. They'll support this decision."
"And what about the people who don't."
"The people who don't will be dealt with when the time comes."
"What do you mean dealt with?"
"I mean whatever it takes to keep us in the White House!"
"Even if it means?"
"You damn right even if it means WAR!"
