Did You Know... The Invention Of Europa Clipper

Did you know. There is something about space that human has created. Also known as Europa Clipper. Of course some people ask themselves. What the hell is that? How does this kind of invention help us as a human. What are we doing right now? Are you sure we are on a right track? This question always hunts us down everyday but fear not.

Europa Clipper

IS a space probe developed by NASA to study Europa, Galiliean Moon of Jupiter. But to be honest this project is kind of new. It is already launched on October 14,2024. The spacecraft will use gravity assist from Mars on 1 March 2025, and earth on 3 December 2026.

Design to follow up the evidence for a subsurface ocean underneath Europa ice crust. The design is made by an engineer. In the name of the universe we will see how to world of science revolves. We also trying to search another life as well and considered it as a bonus.

The Spacecraft Bus is a 5 meter long combination of a 150 cm-wide aluminium cylindrical propulsion Module and rectangular box. Furthermore, the electronic components are protected from the intense radiation by a 150 kilogram titanium, zinc and aluminum shielded vault in the box.

The original plan Europa Clipper journey was to take a direct route to Jupiter. However, due to lack of available launches with SLS and expensive price tag NASA switched to Falcon. It is saved for 1.5 billion budget. Move on to the next.

First challenge, clipper will face is inserting itself into its peculiar orbit to avoid the worst of Jupiter radiation. The clipper have to be careful so the plan that can hold on in 3 years will not end in 3 months. Clipper will focus on collecting the data.

What do we got after the Observation

Most people agreed Jupiter is outside of habitable zone. Europa is a solar powered but it will receive 4% of the light it would near earth. The Jupiter magnetic field makes almost everything hard. The surface of the Moon might suprised you.

The spacecrft will analyze the presence of an iduced of magnetic field around Europa and attempt to detect water from subsurface ocean.

The icy shell is so important because it protect the ocean below the surface from ionizing radiation but strangely this radiation may be a key to europa potential habitability the plasma and charge ion that can create strong oxidants like hydrogen peroxide.

They are 3 surface. Atmosphere, surface ice and subsurface ocean. The ocean will react with other molecules creating a slurry of different molecules that life can appopriate. Europa close orbit to Jupiter provides it with energy to vital life in other ways too. The friction could heat up the water to sustain life in a relatively warm ocean.

Europa strange magnetic field that galileo detected with its magnometer prove the ocean exist. The magnometer measure a strange deviation in magnetic field surrounding europa that only can be explain by a subsurface ocean full of dissolve ion.

Jupiter has 20,000 times more stronger than earth. The magnetic field interacting with the salty ocean and allowing europa to produce a field of its own. Ionizing radiation can damaged solar panel.Each panel has a surface 190 ft and produces 150 watts continuosly when pointed towards the sun while orbiting Jupiter.
