Reasons Why the Jedi are the Villains in Star Wars
What was the point of Star Wars: The Last Jedi? *Spoiler Alert* Not only to end the Jedi Order, but to completely erase their being from the galaxy. Ignoring that fact, those Force wielding so-called "good guys" that almost act like a pseudo-police force in Star Wars may not be as good as we all thought them to be. While they may stand for order and justice, claiming to be the protectors of the entire universe, much of their belief system and ways of going about said "protection" aren't all that morally sound. After all, in contemporary terms, they are a religious cult that abducts children, irrationally sees themselves superior to pretty much anything within the galaxy, and are governed by a council of blind leaders that go about their businesses as if not only above the law, but in the name of order itself.

A New Appreciation for 'A New Hope'
The Star Wars franchise is perhaps most responsible for the popularization of the term "prequel," so it's entirely fitting that the series should contain the prequeliest prequel ever. This year's addition to the ever-expanding Star Wars canon, Rogue One, is a direct baton-pass to the original 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. If you cut out the end credits of the former, and the opening crawl of the latter, you would have a contiguous four-hour feature that tells a complete story: "The Death Star – From Discovery to Destruction."

'Star Wars The Last Jedi:' Luke Skywalker and Ben Solo
Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been out for more than a month already and since then many reviews and criticisms of the film have been lured in. Although it is critically acclaimed and many critics have enjoyed the film already, many fans have expressed discontent with how the film was presented. Although the film has been very negative, there are some positive aspects that needs to be highlighted as I felt they have been overshadowed by its more negative aspects. The story arc that I felt was a very positive aspect of the movie was the one with Luke Skywalker and the destruction of his Jedi Temple and his exile.

Star Wars: The ‘Meninist’ and ‘Feminist’ Cuts of ‘The Last Jedi’ Neglect the Enduring Theme of Equality in the Star Wars Universe
Warning: SPOILERS for The Last Jedi and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The recent release on Pirate Bay of The Last Jedi: A De-Feminised Fanedit, created by someone describing themselves as a 'Men's Rights Activist,' sent the internet into a fury. The edit completely cuts the character of Admiral Holdo, as well as the majority of scenes featuring the other major female characters. Mark Hamill and John Boyega, as well as many fans who disliked The Last Jedi, decried the anonymous user's actions as completely stupid. It wasn't long before a dorkly user rebutted the De-Feminised Fanedit with their own De-Meninised version, which cuts the film's male characters.
