Fires, hurricanes, hailstorms, mass destruction. This signaled the beginning of the apocalypse that had descended upon us. Thankfully I was prepared and had enough essentials packed up to where I could run and take off to a safe underground bunker community I had learned about. I was dodging all sorts of things on my way to the bunker. Zombies, combat fighters, law enforcement. I ducked, dodged, and weaved my way around until I made it safely to the bunker. When I got to the bunker, I was shown where my living quarters would be while I resided there. I unpacked and decided to go exploring around to see what I could find. I went walking around for a bit, and discovered that it was like an underground city of sorts. Almost like Atlantis, but not quite.
As I was exploring my new surroundings, I came across a maze of caves. I thought, hey this is cool. Kind of like an intricate puzzle. I went through the first few caves and didn't find much of anything. As I was going through the next set of caves, I tripped and fell. Much to my surprise there was a little black book on the ground. I walked just a little further so I could be under a little bit better light. I opened the book, and it appeared to be nothing but a bunch of random ramblings about nothing. Then all of a sudden, a key fell out. On the very last page of the black book, there were instructions on how to find the chest that went with the key. So I made my way out of that cave and proceeded to attempt to find the chest.
I finally found the cave number I was to go in and explore. (Yes, all the caves were numbered like houses.) I went through all sorts of twists and turns until I found where I was supposed to be. Finally, I came upon the old abandoned chest. Took the key out of my pocket, put it in the lock, turned it, and opened up the chest. Turns out there was a whole treasure trove of items in the chest. A few diamonds, old books, some magazines, old clothes, old town maps, and at the bottom of all that was $20,000 cash! I couldn't believe my luck. So I picked up the chest, and carried it back to my living quarters. When I got back to my room, I dug through everything real good and was trying to decide what to do with everything. There were apparently several modern-day stores in the bunker, so I went to each of those.
I donated the books, magazines, clothes, and maps to the museum that was down there. From there, I went to the jeweler to have my diamonds appraised. There were 10 sizeable diamonds in the chest, and the total retail value was $15,000,000!!! My mouth dropped wide open. Of course, I sold them to the jeweler. So now I had a total of $15,020,000! Wow oh wow! Just couldn't believe the events that had just unfolded. Fortunately, I was able to safely and swiftly go to the outside world, and get supplies to start a garden underground. I made many friends with my new neighbors, and even discovered some of my old friends and neighbors had made it to safety! We went and planted a bountiful of seeds and tended to the garden day and night, and soon after saw the fruits of our labor. All that hard work and dedication called for a much-needed nap.
No sooner than I had fallen asleep, I swore I heard someone calling my name several times. I woke up to find that I actually had fallen down and hit my head on the ground, and my friends were worried as heck that I was ok. Turns out the events of that I thought had just happened, were all a dream and I had actually blacked-out momentarily. If only.
