When did the easy road

Become the only road?

Why is money more important than love?

Why do looks come before moments?

Will humanity ever prove itself again?

Will integrity become valued again?

Will I ever feel the weight

Of loving someone again?

Will I ever feel important to someone again?

Will I ever get to live my most wildest dreams?

Has love been lost in this world?

Have we all been deceived of love for lust?

Have we all fallen asleep

Mistaking our closed minded comfort zone

As enough?

Have we found it more important

to over look sin and shame

Instead of seeking justice?

Has the good been consumed by the bad

And has the wicked been comforted by the innocent?

Has the command to love your neighbor

Became to hide from your neighbor?

Has our one nation under God

Turned into a nation against God?

When will we wake up?

When will this generation start to fight

For what matters?

When will the dedicated feel triumphant?

When will “we the people”

Come together as one?

If we fight together

Rather than against each other

We could save the world

Rather than to be the cause of the end of it.

Has a world war three really become more normalized

Than world peace?

We aren’t living six feet apart anymore.
