Love and Horror
Prologue Zora pulls out a 9mm gun, points at me, and says, "break up with me and you die." She cuts her arm with my knife and tells me to drink from her. So that I can read her mind like she can read mine. She put a spell on me the first time we had sex to make me intoxicated by her and quite obsessed if I’m going to be honest. After I drank from her, I could feel everything she was feeling. It made me need her as I've never needed anyone before. But it also caused me agony because I could feel her pain and sadness. I could read every single thought going through her head. Even though she was trying to hide them. After having sex with her, I felt off when I left her Aunt Suzy's place as if I were about to die. I had slept the night before, but I was exhausted and felt dizzy for some reason, but I continued to drive. I had a seizure while going and ended up at my exit towards my house, the car was not ruined, but my passenger tire was blown. She tried to kill me. Knowing what I know now, she put that spell on me to make me want her and then for me to die while driving. A tragic accident because Zora could tell I was going to leave and never come back. This will not be the end for me. She will come back and try to kill me, but I'll be ready this time.

This One's Just For You
Pierre still lay motionless on the bed when Annette returned. Finding and grabbing the sharpest knife she owned, Annette rushed to Pierre's bedside and grabbed his limp wrist. Finding what she hoped to be a suitable vein, she used the knife to open it, inserted one end of the hollow stem, and then taped the stem in place. Then, gritting her teeth, she opened a vein in her own wrist, inserted the other end of the stem, and taped it in place. Then she held her arm slightly above Pierre's, allowing gravity to slowly deliver her blood containing the toxin-fighting agent into his bloodstream.

The Bread of Aset
And so they told the Story of Aset. The Goddess was often represented as the perfect traditional Egyptian wife and mother— wise enough to stay in the background while things went well, but able to use her wits to guard her loved ones and adherents should the need arise. The shelter she afforded her children gave her the character of a goddess of protection, but her chief aspect was that of a great magician, whose power transcended that of all other deities.
