Under the Full Moon's Light
The small town of Feormetan was all in a buzz. All the ladies chattered excitedly as they fritted over one another, with their best dresses on and ribbons in their hair. The men of the town were wearing their best Sunday suits, with shoes shined, and facial hair neatly groomed. It was a momentous occasion! All the townspeople hurried to the town square, for the Minister himself was coming to give a proclamation! Normally proclamations were heard by the town crier, only the biggest news of the utmost importance was ever given by the Minister. However, for the past two months the Minister had personally delivered two huge proclamations, and it looked like this month was no different. First the minister was able to secure more resources from the crown to fish in the bay to the south of town. Next he secured twice as much land from the crown than what was already available on the east of town for twice as much agriculture. With the town prospering at an exhilarated rate, everyone was excited to see what the Minister was able to secure from the crown next.

Murder on the Titanic
Joe Smith raced through the alleyways of Southampton trying to stick to the shadows and hidden entrances. Behind them was a large brute that weighed in at 300 pounds of pure muscle. Like a squirrel going up a tree, Joe made tracks up a fire escape, crossed over and made it to the other side. What they didn’t consider the fact that a second brute who anticipated the little detour was already on the other side waiting for them, and while he was waiting, began sucking on a lit cigar. The cigar when sucked on, caused the end to light up nice and bright.

The Procreation Act of 2035
by: Dennis R. Humphreys Most years come and go uneventfully, but this one was different. Maybe it was because the people holding out, believing their leaders, finally had a huge awakening. It was no longer their government watching over their rights to choose, but a quasi-industrial governing force that told them what to do. When there was opposition to their intent, they cried conspiratorialists... or the people were not capable of understanding it was for their welfare. Unfortunately, when you have a society that becomes lazy and refuses to look for the answers directly, or depend on their information from others and the media, and worse yet listen to it, you're fucked.
