Seals and Bounty: The Bodyguard

Kidnapped - Chapter 10 - Short Story

Mari

As I am upstairs getting ready, all I can think about is Wyatt. How I can't wait until this is all over. I want him to be my new Daddy. I want him to be my last Daddy. I want to submit to him, to role-play with him, and for him to use all kinds of toys. I just have to make it through this crisis and hopefully, he will approach me as more than a woman in danger.

I came downstairs and everyone is waiting for me. All the officers are in plain clothes and Wyatt is in his security uniform. I guess he would cause too much attention if he was not dressed as if it was a normal working day. To be honest, today was the first time I remember seeing him in his uniform. I mean, really seeing him. Man, he was one gorgeous man in plain clothes, but in that uniform, she could eat him alive.

They all loaded up in their cars. Wyatt had pulled out behind me but was driving far enough back that no one could tell that he or the other cars were following me.

I stopped at every yellow light to make sure I would not leave them.

Damn, I wasn't paying attention. I didn't stop. Looks like Wyatt made it through the light, but the police cars didn't. I guess that was okay since they probably thought that because he made it.

A few lights down and suddenly, I heard tires squalling and there was an accident with two cars at the intersection I just went through. Wyatt was stuck behind the accident, and so were the other cops.

I am assuming I am still okay because they have security and the cops detailed at the casino.

I pull up in my parking spot, get out, and head for the side door. I really thought there would be more detail in the parking lot. But I know there is definitely at least one guard at the door. I just have to get there.

I hear footsteps. I am too scared to stop and look. The next thing I know, there is a hand over my mouth and everything goes black.

Wyatt

Damn it. This idiot just ran the red light. Luckily it didn't hit Mari's car, but now we are all stuck behind it.

I immediately call Rodriquez.

"Rodriquez, can you get us around this accident?" I asked.

"I am already working on it. I have the officers and EMTs that are responding, going to clear a path for us. But it is going to take a few minutes," he responded.

"Okay, I am going to call my second in command and let him know," I said.

"Sounds good. I am going to radio into the guys at the casino," he replied.

I hung up after saying okay and called Kadon. He answered on the first ring.

"Hey man, are you guys running behind?" Kadon asked.

"Well, there is an accident about two blocks away that separated us from Mari. If you haven't heard the radio she is inside, can you go check the parking lot? Maybe she doesn't want to get out of the car," I said.

"Yeah, I haven't heard any chatter that she is here yet. I will go out in the parking lot and see if I see her car," Kadon replied.

"Thanks, man. Let me know when you are out there," I said.

We hung up. About that time, I hear the sirens. Thank God. Now they can make a path for us.

My phone rings. I look and it is Kadon.

"Hey, man! We should be moving soon. I hear the sirens coming. Officer Rodriquez is having them clear us a path. Did you see her car?" I asked.

"Wyatt, her car is here, but there is no sign of her anywhere. I have the guy at the door saying he never saw her and no one inside has seen her either. I am back in the parking lot now, trying to see if I can determine what happened between the car and the door," Kadon said, very concerned and angry.

"Man tell me you are not fucking serious right now?" I yelled into the phone and beeping my horn.

"I found her purse in the bushes near her car. I am assuming the kidnapper left it there so her cell phone couldn't be tracked. I have the guys in the security office, pulling all the camera feeds from twenty minutes before you called me," Kadon said.

"Hold on, Rodriquez is coming to my window," I said.

"Rodriquez, we have to get out of here now. He has her," I yelled.

"I know that is why I am coming to the car. Our guys have all been reassigned to the parking lot from inside. We have a guy going over the footage with one of your guys. Looks like he knocked her out with probable chloroform. They are moving the cars to them right now so we can pull through. We will turn the sirens on," Rodriquez said.

"Okay," I told Rodriquez, as he went back to his car. "Kadon, Rodriquez just told me the guy seemed to have knocked her unconscious with maybe chloroform. We are on our way to you now," I said into the phone.

We pull up and there are cops everywhere. I can't believe this shit happened. I am going to kill this guy when I find him. And he better not lay one finger on her.
