Scandium burst into the kitchen, brimming with excitement. His colorful companion, Nomlie, fluttered over and perched on the coffee machine, curious about his enthusiasm.

"I want to share my work!" Scandium exclaimed, his voice filled with passion.

Nomlie tilted her head and asked, "Then why don't you?"

Scandium paused, realizing he was back in the comfort of his home. He removed his oxygen mask, placing it next to his ray gun and cell phone on the counter.

"But I need to do it the right way, don't I?" Scandium pondered.

Nomlie responded, "What would that be?"

"Shouldn't I shout it from the rooftops?" Scandium wondered aloud.

A concerned expression crossed Nomlie's face as she warned him, "I wouldn't. The city is still surrounded by the Krakney, those enormous six-legged creatures twice your size. They've been here since Monday, and they won't leave until they've had their fill of food."

"Alright, you have a point," Scandium conceded, taking a moment to think. "Then, perhaps I'll send my work through the information tube to reach every resident in the quadrant!"

Nomlie's green tongue licked her hand as she informed him, "Sorry, it's out of order. Whenever someone tries to use it lately, the packages get jammed, and the reactor starts sparking, risking a fire."

"Ugh! What am I supposed to do then?" Scandium groaned, reaching for the coffee machine. Nomlie swiftly hopped off to avoid being flung away.

As Scandium prepared his second cup of the day, Nomlie settled on top of the refrigerator, next to the Kale-Generator. Just as she was about to speak, Scandium interrupted her.

"They deserve a grand introduction!" he declared. "One of my stories is a Sci-Fi tale, and the other... well, it defies classification. Maybe it's magic realism, but I'm not entirely certain."

Nomlie chimed in, "You can simply call it speculative fiction. That covers a wide range of possibilities."

"Exactly! Speculative fiction! It's a fantastic term that allows me to write without worrying about genre limitations. If there's an 'unreal' element, I can just let the readers figure it out," Scandium explained with enthusiasm.

"But what even qualifies as 'unreal' these days?" Nomlie inquired, stroking her wings. A bug startled her, and she missed swiping at it with her four-fingered hand. Scandium nodded, deep in thought, as an alert from his suit reminded him of his dwindling caffeine levels. He took two large sips of his freshly brewed coffee.

"That's a good point. However, considering the nature of these stories, I still believe they deserve..."

"They deserve an introduction as peculiar as they are?" Nomlie suggested, her eyebrows bouncing playfully.

Scandium grinned, observing his surroundings with both his human eye and the computer-generated eyeball he acquired since arriving in this strange place. He had grown accustomed to the extraordinary, yet this was a truly bizarre setting.

"Well, then I'll start telling people," Nomlie proposed. "You can begin by telling me."

"Okay!" Scandium exclaimed, thrilled by the idea. He cleared his throat and prepared to share his news.

"I have two stories that were published today! My Sci-Fi tale 'Looting While Dead' can be found on Sci-Fi Shorts. It explores space exploration, people surviving on a foreign planet, doing whatever it takes to make ends meet. It's actually my second story published by them in the Member's Area."

Nomlie nodded attentively, encouraging him to continue.

"And I also have a speculative fiction story called 'The Booth' in Clever Fox Literary Magazine. It's my first time being published there, and I struggle to describe it without giving too much away. The main character grapples with his desires and a constant feeling of deprivation."

Nomlie responded with a soft golf-clap, impressed by Scandium's achievements. "You did well. That's all it takes. No need for grand fanfare or elaborate stories to promote your work."

"I suppose you're right," Scandium admitted, reflecting on her words.
