He held her close in his arms, wanting to re-assure and wash away any doubt she might have, that he was sincere.
She begged him, her breath shallow and shaky, "Please, please say those three words I have been longing to hear."
As he swept the hair from her eyes, and held her face gently in his hands, he softly whispered, "micro-fiction story."
