Wind felt like a cool friend caressing the battered soul. But when it stopped, so did the wind turbines. Now, there of course was a backup…fossil fuels.

Hardy Siemston looked at the wind patterns and knew exactly what to do. He dumped all the plans for further turbines and embraced the beauty of oil, natural gas, and coal.

The people dismantled the turbines and replaced the area with coal factories in just under a year. The parts from the turbines had to be converted to machine parts for the plants. Siemston took his life seriously. He did that on purpose.
