A side-tale

The last time we saw Saul and Paul, they sailed away from a deserted island where they had just abandoned poor pirate Joe. They took his treasure and headed for the distant seas. They were mighty pleased with themselves.

Now, we catch up with them on another island, this one occupied by the Gingabana tribe. Saul has told Paul they will stay till the end of their days because they are treated like gods. Paul is unsure of this and has begged Saul to leave, to no avail.

But Saul should have listened to Paul because that was not a jacuzzi that the tribe put him in, and now Paul was being used to stoke a fire. The Gingabana tribe loved nothing more than to eat a good parrot soup, and they considered themselves blessed the day that Saul and Paul landed on their shores.

However, Saul could not see this since he thought the gold chain they put around his ankle was for decoration only and not a ploy to hold him prisoner.

So, in the end, Karma came for Saul and Paul. Sadly, Pirate Joe was nowhere around to witness it.
