What If The World Really Was Purple Every Evening

My wife doesn't care for my claims to see purple clouds at night when I am looking through my high-powered microscope

Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. As I comment to myself that line, I hear, “Oh my,” coming from the wife. “Poetry in motion. I wish I could take a notion and be with you at night to see what you see.”

Why don’t you, I asked her, knowing full well that she wouldn’t stay up that late, or early depending on your perspective. I loved being up at midnight. My wife couldn’t ever make it past 11:00 p.m. We are retired, I would say. It doesn’t matter as she never will stay up, no matter the circumstance.

I thought my wife would stay up with me if I told her about the purple clouds. Then when we went to bed together we could have a good time. Laughing and joking about all that we saw that night.

I am a star gazer. And I am not referring to someone who watches famous people. Not that kind of star. Maybe more like an astrologer or astronomer. I have never worked in that capacity, however, I enjoy watching from my property.

When you retire, you have to keep busy and keep learning. The alternative isn’t good. I have seen it happen many times. I solve my rubix cube every day a few times and I am teaching myself to play the harmonica our son got me for my birthday.

My wife’s favorite color is purple and I thought it would help to tell her about the purple clouds. I don’t think she believes me, and I also don’t know that she will see the purple clouds.

A few weeks ago I started seeing purple around items in nature. The purple clouds only happened in the last several days. How can I tell anyone that? I am afraid that no one will believe me and now that I told her about the purple clouds she for sure won’t believe I see purple all around us.

When I began to do some research about this and found purple is the crown chakra, whereas it is pretty common to see both purple and yellow when meditating. I am not meditating when I see the color purple. I felt better lately about this experience as others start seeing the same color.

What about the purple clouds, that I now see during the night and into the early day hours? Am I the only one to see them? No, at my part-time job today, someone mentioned seeing them too. Another person said they wondered if it was from the product our factory is making.

Another person said, “It is in the environment from the scientists trying to clean our air of smog. It is a smog cleaner. We will have better air quality. The discovery is brand new. Haven’t you heard about it yet? Some people see purple on more than just the clouds.

The purple color is the chemical that cleans the smog. Harmless. Or so they say. I’m sure if we wait just a month or so, there will be something else saying that they will need to use something to clean out the smog cleaner.

One thing for sure is it will be beautiful in the meantime. Purple is my wife’s favorite color and it seems to cheer her up when she sees purple. Me, I am only relieved that I am not the only one that is seeing purple clouds after midnight.

Science is wonderful. I just love all the new things brought out that make life better and worth living. At my age, who knew I could still be alive, let alone working part-time? My aunt died at 103. Many of my family now don’t die until they are in the early hundreds.

My aunt was doing okay, but what she would have given to continue to see the television and read in her late 90s and early 100s. Let alone see purple clouds. I am so glad that hearing and vision have been one of the things that science has fixed. Especially if we are going to live so long.
