Jessie lives outside of a small town in the woods somewhere. She prefers it that way. It's more peaceful- the chatter has subsided. It's too noisy in cities- small towns are too gossipy.

Jessie knows what you are thinking of even before you do. She has her little shop where she makes her remedies and potions. A small portion of the townspeople come to her for her natural remedies. Living in the 21st century, the majority of people want to take more natural medicine than prescription medicine.

There are rumours around town that Jessie practiced witchcraft and the reason she keeps herself isolated and prefers to live alone is because something terrible happened. In the last place Jessie lived a few people had died. Because these people had gone to her for help, it was believed Jessie had put some bad voodoo or poisoned them instead of helping.

Jessie didn't intend those people to die. In fact, Jessie's magick did help ease the pain a suffering but since humans are the way they are- Jessie was chased out by an angry mob. The police couldn't find anything to hold against her. So, they had to let her go.

There was a stipulation to letting her go- even though they could find anything to charge her with. The stipulation was for her to live out of silviation. Which actually works out perfectly for Jessie anyway, since she prefers to be left alone.

The earliest memory Jessie has of her powers was when she was only 6 years old. She was playing with her mother's herbs and spices in the kitchen- playing make-believe when Jessie accidentally mixed the correct ingredients to cause an explosion in the kitchen and the house burning to the ground.
