The cawing of the raven

says it's time to check the locks

There are very few safe havens

as the time ticks on the clock

He comes to take the wicked

who have relinquished any good

no one will be acquitted

though you feel misunderstood

No one here is innocent

we all have sins to pay

So keep watch and ever vigilant

for he comes for you, today

    Love this moody, creepy poem.

  • Why do ravens get such a bad rep? Worthy of Poe, Kelli. Worthy of Poe.

OOOHHHH YES! This feels like a children's fable seasoned with Poe. I applaud this. Well done!
