The crescent moon was reminiscent of a Persian scythe in shape, its illuminating light scathed the night's stars and the piercing moonlight could lead one to believe an owl had flown overhead. Lilith, the preponderant succubus's pale reflection riding the waves protruded by ripples of pitch black, and yet, intruded with near-infinite sands of clay underneath. Dread be the wars man bred and locked into prior to yesterday's baring age has finally chased the sun's sanity to the other side of this quaint realm giving the sky a chance to remember the beauty of what was, the oceans, prior to the late Earth and its belonging consequences. Should the seas rise as much as temper's of Zeus a well placed dam should be built to keep safe the town from the repercussions of evening's descent. For all that is divine will remain as long as divinity is not disrupted, shall this oath be gone against, may the mountains perish and their corresponding spirits return to the seas like the grains of sand, the motion's erosion.
Two friends stand ashore skygazing and ocean dreaming as they anticipate the soothsayer's prognostication - a tide or violent disruption of the ocean's bodies unleashing havoc on a small village. Then Dill broke silence, a fierce warrior in training with a strong wit about him environmentally. 'Someone took the necklace', priest Benton had warned us about this 700 years ago, its connected to her necklace.
Khloe said perplexed: "Whose necklace?"
"... Thyrgaraza" - said he, as Dill looked more intensely at the waters beneath his feet.
'Thyrga.. huh? You don't really believe the stories about the mermaid do you?'
'The stories about the necklace are true. Its safety has kept this village protected for centuries... do you even know the story?"
"Long story short, the elements of the sky were brethren to the elements of the ocean. Through precipitation and centuries each rain bout brought microscopic debris from the ocean and a combination of lightning, water, and gray thunder clouds over time create this locket that fell into the ocean. It is said that the masters of the sea put it together and gave it to his daughter... then it blew ashore. The villagers have kept it safe ever since, ever since then we have not had storms or wars with neighboring countries. Yet if that necklace is ever to be lost or worse - destroyed it will be a dystopia we can resolve, an ongoing dystopia for millenniums until a similar happening happens again, and what are the odds?"
"Oh no"
His face grew fierce and his posture battled aggravated winds.
"Come on': said Dill 'We should go back inside"
They both knew that they had to find the necklace and that the brewing natures of the water had perfectly meant that paradise had been disrupted. They will now have to carefully watch out for one another until the whereabouts of the necklace.
As they left, an essence of darkness escaped the reflection of the moonlight in the water and danced its way into the shadows of the trees out of the moon's crescent reflection in the water. The wind seemed to have been battling with the leaves which made it appear that there was a disagreement between her and the air. She was clearly not arguing, not growing tired - the entity belonging to the air must have grown wary after several attempts to warn the village about what had happened, and yet, after being seduced by the shadows' pose had no choice but to succumb to being a wondering wisp.
"Neither good nor bad whispered the wind."
Then what business have you so violently rampaging through the bushes and the leaves like a Category 3? You do know animals live here.
"The manner of your tone is rather intriguing, as if there is something you are protecting." The irritation began with the stance of the wind ("if you are neither good nor bad," she thought.. "then simply subside and disperse; I do not see your point. None of this is necessary")
The squirrels, cats, raccoons, possums, and even a Komodo dragon were all clearly disgruntled by what was going on.
Her disenchanted stance altered the breezes like a mood ring given an altered temperature. "You - you cause my blood to rise."
"Anything concerning the necklace is no concern of this village." said Lilith
"No, none." whispered the hallowing wind
"This means no more snapping branches, its as if you're preparing everyone for a season that is not to even be a probability for the next 3 months. After all the gathering at the Saint House what are they going to think about the deities that they bow down and pray to?"
"I know not much of it for the matter, I choose to reserve my forethought on the matter."
At this point Lilith seemed to have had an adverse effect on the influences of Mercury, and that which was bad went with like and all that was left was good and brought peace.
All around were stilling waters and gentle breezes.
Lilith has always been able to bring the wind to its natural senses, he waned until it was no more. This will give the thieves or whomever even more time to complete what they were doing without any full alert.
Lilith softly spoke to herself: "To whom the necklace belonged, it would all come back to her ripple by ripple. For each memory and dream aligned, a sequence restored in the fate of time. That time is not now, this would have done more harm than good. There is a time and a place for everything and now is not the time."
This was understood by her and to be respected by all.
