The Ultimate Desire
How two women came together during a moonlight drive
Clare Foster still couldn't process what she was going through. It can be said that she's too young to experience such a loss, she was only 24. Despite this, she just came from a funeral of someone who was dear to her: her husband, Matt Foster. They were only married for a year. They were college sweethearts. Yet after that, Clare ended up a widow.
All of that was in Clare's mind as she was in her car with someone who had been at her since she started college: her therapist, Dr. Gayle Messner. The two women were driving together late at night in Gayle's car, and both of them thought back to the years of sessions they had together. As they looked at each other, the six years they spent together all came back to both of them, but for Clare, the memories were vivid.
Clare remembered her first session, which centered on her nerves about starting college. A year later, the subject turned to Matt, and how she had fallen for him. As for Gayle, one memory stayed with her: Clare's heartbreak over seeing that Matt had a girlfriend. At that moment, Clare and Gayle looked at each other again, but this time, it was less about mourning and more about personal feelings towards each other. Gayle felt that she needed to give Clare what she really wanted, and that's when therapist and patient suddenly kissed each other.
After Gayle stopped the car and parked near an isolated and wooded area, both she and Clare turned their attention to the night sky. The women appeared to be waiting for something, but they didn't have to wait too long, as they saw what they wanted to see: a bright full moon--a harvest moon, at that. It was at this point that Gayle and Clare turned their attention to each other once again, giving a glance that further established their love for each other. However, the moon's appearance also unleashed another memory from Clare's subconscious, one from two years prior.
Clare had to have Matt, and she actually tracked down his girlfriend, Alisha Bonner, late one night, with a full moon in the night sky. While Clare was doing so, a peculiar feeling came over her. She noticed that her nails were suddenly long and sharp, while both of her hands were covered with brown fur. Because she was close to a window, Clare saw that her face was also covered with fur, and she had sharp teeth and a black snout on her nose. She continued tracking Alisha, but this time, Clare--having become a werewolf--lunged at Alisha and viciously mauled her.
When Clare looked at Gayle again, she did so in her werewolf form, and she affectionaly touched Gayle with her clawed hand. Gayle reciprocated by holding Clare's hand, but at that instant, Gayle's right hand was also clawed and was covered with white fur. Afterwards, Gayle unleashed her own memories, dating back to the night they first kissed, which was followed by Gayle revealing herself as a werewolf and turning her newfound lover into one as well. Clare ended up with Mike, and they became husband and wife, only for Mike's death to occur at the monstrous hands of Gayle, just as the two women planned it out.
Mike was not only popular in college, he was well off, and as a result, Gayle ended up benefitting financially. The plan was to share Mike's wealth together, but while both of them had money as a motive, Clare's murderous revenge against Mike was due to her being upset over being Mike's "second choice," in her mind. The deaths of Alisha and Mike were due to a random animal attack, putting both women in the clear, and after the she-wolves kissed each other passionately, they unleashed a loud howl together, doing so in celebration of their love for each other and their sinister plot succeeding.
