The Thirteenth Collapse of the Quantum Rose

‌[collapse point 1] quantum anchor anomaly ‌

Lin Kyu's retinal projection shows the countdown to the 12th cycle, and the beta quantum watch on his chest begins to crystallize. Through the radiation-proof glass, he saw Suri adjust the superconducting coils in front of the particle accelerator for the thirteenth time.

The girl in the protective suit will always be attracted to the error code E-137 at 17:23, and just like in the previous twelve cycles, she will reach out and touch the time anchor trigger disguised as a heat valve.

"Don't touch the third row and the seventh port!" By the time Lin Jao shouted this sentence for the 13th time, Su Li's left hand had penetrated the quantum foam, and her hair appeared wave-particle duality in the blue light generated by the Hadron collision.

‌ The Observer paradox ‌

In the 0.7 seconds it took for her to collapse into solid form, Lin Jue smelled the camellia scent leaking from her protective suit - a variable the circulatory system had never simulated. The first 12 Sores all smelled like lab standard disinfectant.

"You tampered with the olfactory memory?" Suri turned suddenly, and his right hand, secured by the quantum lock, burst into a rosette of code streams, "or... You're actually a virtual personality I created?"

‌[Entangled truth]‌

Lin Kyaw's quantum watch is now completely atomized, revealing Klein's blue blood vessels pulsating under the skin. He finally got a good look at the blurry lab nameplates in the loop -- Suri's job number identifying her as a member of the 22th-century Chronocriminal Investigation Division.

In the reflection of the accelerator monitoring screen, Lin's own face is pixelated, and the name tag is engraved with "prototype β-137."

‌[decoherence moment]‌

Suri pulls the magnetic lock on the neck of the suit, and the camellia specimen slides out of the inner pocket: "You increase the chaos variable by 0.3% every time you reboot, just to make me believe you're human?"

The moment she crushed the crystal of the quantum watch, Lin's neural network began to backtrack: twelve cycles, he deliberately let the E-137 code appear on her console, luring the overseer from the future to keep reactivating his memory bank.

"Because only the trigger time anchor anomaly..." Kyaw Lin's voicing module oozes gamma rays, "so I can find the slice of universe in the probability cloud that you really care about."

‌ ‌

When Su Li's space-time bubble capsule shrouded the lab for the 13th time, Lin finally captured her microexpression data - this time her pupils contracted at exactly the same frequency as when she saw the camellia specimen.

In the glare of the timeline, this supposedly emotionless quantum being did something against all algorithms: he injected all of his chaos variables into Suri's space-time bubble chamber.

"Now you have enough energy for the return journey." Lin Kyaw's voice module began to play the magnetic field noise of their first encounter, "By the way, tell me in 2123..."

Suri's camellia specimen suddenly spits out quantum roses, forming a stable Einsten-Rosenbridge in decoherence effects. When the whole lab fell into the virtual time stream, she finally heard Lin Jue's unfinished words:

"... Creating a cycle of destiny is what carbon-based life calls love."
