The Tea-Time Fairy
An Afternoon Cup of Micro-Fiction
She beckons over my dearest friends for an afternoon gathering. A fragrant affair, full of cheerful chatter and steaming cups.
She reaches out for her tiny thimble-cup. We slowly sip chamomile. Our laughter seems so ethereal - something rare and magical.
Not a care in our wildest garden-space; beautifully, naturally overgrown. Dandelions burst into brightest hues; tasty flowers head to root. Their seeds take flight, swirling with the latest gossip spoken. Gone are the words of all the world's misdeeds!
Only then does she rise - fluttering wild and free. Our fairy friend grins in approval. Just the gathering warranted.
About the Creator
Megan Baker (Left Vocal in 2023)
A fun spin on her last name, Baker enjoyed creating "Baker's Dozen" lists for various topics! She also wrote candidly about her mental health & a LOT of fiction. Discontinued writing on Vocal in 2023 as Vocal is a fruitless venture.
