The Tale of Stars, Dust, and Emptiness

A cosmic fable of creation and wonder.

By Mubasshir Haque Published 8 months ago 1 min read

Before time had a name, in a silence deeper than thought, everything slumbered within a void. That slumber was broken by a burst — the Big Bang! Light spilled across the nothingness, and from that light was born the Universe.

The Universe was like a curious young girl then, her gaze filled with wonder, her skin shimmering with newborn stars. She played with particles of dust and gas, spinning them into patterns like a child braiding her hair with gold.

The stars were her friends — each one an artist, painting strange and brilliant scenes with colors of light.

There was no Earth yet, but two twin gases, Hydrogen and Helium, danced through the cosmos, laughing. One day, they embraced and gave birth to the first star — Alor. Alor was proud, burning from within with the power of fusion, radiating warmth and brilliance, gifting light to the void.

Together, stars, gas, and dust created galaxies. The Milky Way was their favorite — a river of dreams flowing across the night, holding billions of stars like lanterns in a current of time.

And far away, watching silently, was the Void — the ancient philosopher. It had no voice, no sound — only the deep calm of nothingness. But it knew that within its emptiness, one day, something precious would stir.

At last, that day arrived. On a small blue planet, under the golden gaze of a young sun, life began to breathe. Earth was now a young maiden, her heart beating with the rhythm of existence.

The Universe watched. Her child, Earth, was speaking, singing, loving. And in that moment, the Universe understood — her essence was more than matter. Within her swirled stories, dreams, and boundless affection.

And so, the stars, the dust, and the silent void whispered together:

"We are the first poets. Within us are written epics — in the sky, in the planets, in every breath of life."
