Who will they meet?…

“Two pints to go, Mister Joey!” Angel yelled at the bartender as she approached the table.

“Ahh Angel! Welcome back Lass!” The young man greeted the black haired woman.

Angel pushed a strand of hair behind her ear as she placed her crossbow onto the table. She took a seat “It is very windy out there Joey, better be careful when you head home tonight. I think it’ll storm.”

“Well I think I’ll be alright Angel,” Joey exclaimed as he grabbed the cups. “And get your filthy bloody crossbow off my counter! You’ll scare my customers away!”

Angel sighed but brought it off the table and nodded.

“Hey Angela!” A male called from a table.

Angel looked over and groaned “not these idiots.” Joey glanced up as Angel spoke before taking a deep breath.

The male looked over to his group of friends before turning back to her, “Why do you always take two pints to go? Who are you hiding from your pals?” He laughed to himself.

“We’re not pals Dasher.” Angel gripped her crossbow tightly. “Stay far away from me or else.” She said sternly.

Dasher let out a small ugly cackle “Or else what Angela. Don’t you want to have some fun again?”

Angel flinched as she looked down.

Joey slammed his hand on the counter as he pulled out his mace from under the counter “Oie! That’s enough with you lot. I should throw you all out and get you banned from every bar in the kingdom. Now enough with harassing the poor girl and get on with your poor lives.” Joey yelled aggressively.

The whole bar seemed to hold its breath. Everyone looked at Joey and at Dasher.

Dasher looked at his friends, then the people, then Joey, until he sighed and rolled his eyes “But of course Joey, none of the issue. My apologies Angela.” He then turned back to his friends to continue their conversations.

The whole bar let out its breath and went back to life with everyone turning back to their own little lives.

Joey sighed as he closed up the top cover for the mugs. One was much bigger than the other. “On the house. Really sorry about that Angel.”

“Oh, it’s alright Joey, it’s not your fault. As you know, I only told him to back off for his safety, not mine.” She laughed a bit. “Take care. I’ll be going before any other trouble happens in the bar tonight.”

“Take Care.” Joey nodded.

Angel attached her crossbow to her back and grabbed the two cups as she turned and made her way out of the bar.

Before she finally stepped out, she looked around. Once she saw no one, she turned left and made her way to the back of the building.

She spotted some light and walked behind the trash to spot a giant lady. She was very muscular and had purple markings all over her body. She wore a metal chest plate and with a bottom that had furs sewed into it which allowed everyone that glanced to see her rippling abs. The Giantess has long blonde hair with reddened ends. “Ah, Angel.” She greeted.

“ViperFang, I was only gone for 5 minutes you know.” Angel rolled her eyes and she passed the bigger pint to Viper.

“I thank you for the drink Angel.” ViperFang nodded to her.

Angel laughed a bit as she sat next to her. She leaned on her and looked up “Have you heard about the village getting attacked by goblins and demons?”

“Gabutos town. Yes I have heard of it. We will take care of it in the next afternoon.”

“You mean tomorrow afternoon?”

“Same thing.” The giantess grumbled.

Angel giggled a bit. ViperFang had gotten much better with her words since they first met.

The night sky was full of bright stars. The four biggest one shined better than any others. Angel smirked and tilted her head “Alright Viper, let’s revise! Which star is which?”

ViperFang scrunched up her face and looked up “well, if I remember, there’s the South Star of the Sleeping Mountains, the Frozen North Star of the Elves, the East Star of Magick and the Singing East Star of the Human.” ViperFang then gave a big toothy grin towards Angel. Angel returned it and nodded.

After they talked for what might be hours, Angel fell asleep leaning on ViperFang. Viper, needing very little sleep kept watch.
