The Man in the Mirror 2
When an old Victorian mirror begins to carve the death records of strangers into your flesh

Part 2: Reflection Trial
"Electric shocks bring the soul closer to the mirror world." The treatment diary of October 17, 1912, was covered with mold spots like corpse spots under the scanner. Dr. Lehman of St. Margaret's Hospital used twenty mirrors to form a hypnotic circle, and Samuel's diary had scratch-like blood stains on the corners.
I counted the sound of the pendulum in the archives to check the clues. In the past forty years, seventeen collectors have lost body parts due to "accidents": ballet dancers' toes got stuck in antique clock gears, and surgeons' eyeballs got embedded in telescope eyepieces.
"Mirrors need to be fed regularly, sweetheart." Antique dealer Henry was still stroking the frame yesterday, laughing, and his body was being carried out of the basement at this moment. The police said he pierced his Adam's apple with a copper iris ornament, but the surveillance video showed that five minutes before his death, there were clearly hands in the mirror helping him tie his bow tie.
The iodine tungsten lamp suddenly exploded. I groped for the emergency light, and the moment the cold light came on, the "me" in the mirror who was retreating leaned forward.
