The last time I'll ever meet you

Our story begins back in 2005, on the playground in a little place called Beachtown, Florida. Luna and Sterling were five years old when they met, Now when you're five it seems like anything is possible, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway back to the playground, it was your average playground nothing too special. The equipment was old, there was some graffiti, also it wasn't too broken down so it made a great fort. We set the stage for princess Luna playing a nice game of " pretend " and this was the part in the game where Luna was in her castle daydreaming about her prince charming coming to her rescue. Enters Haven a quiet little boy the same age as Luna, who wanted to go down the slide aka Luna's " castle" in make believe land. Lets just say Luna was the kind of little girl who wasn't afraid to hit someone and while that was a problem her parents where trying to tackle it would be a defining moment for her as this situation plays out. Haven ask if he can go down the slide and Luna says " no, this my castle ", Haven says " your castle isn't real and your game is dumb" Luna then proceeds to push Haven down the slide and say " who's castle isn't real now? ". Haven turns around sitting on the ground and is shocked and that a girl actually pushed him and wasn't afraid to do he didn't know it in that moment but that feisty little girl would later know her as the love of his life, but we aren't there yet! stop trying to get to the end and relax because this is going to take awhile. Now where were we ? Yes! Again back to the playground. Luna slid down the slide to help Haven get up as she reached out her hand and said " here let me help you up " he grabbed it and pulled her down causing her to land on the floor she was surprised, Haven got up and before you know it she was running after him for a good minute you know how fast kids get tired. The two ended up on the other side of the park near the swing where Luna met Havens twin brother Indigo. And next to them on the other set of swings was both of their future best friends, Peyton and Sterling. Peyton, Haven, and Indigo had already met a few days earlier and had already become friends. Peyton goes up to Haven and Indigo and Sterling follows and they all meet Luna. Luna was happy to make new friends. Indigo was completely taken with Luna and thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world and it should be noted here that Luna would also become the love of Indigo's life as well. And to top it all off they were twins. And Luna was kinda oblivious and didn't have any feelings in the moment that I could write in this story. While we have a love triangle developing over there, we have Peyton and Sterling who we also realizing that they like each other as well and they were already best friends. Keep in mind these five kids were already extraordinary from birth. And they grew up to have equal extraordinary lives. Anyway, the five kids decided to play a game of hide and seek. Peyton yelled " I want to be it!", he started counting " 1,2,3,4..etc" . The four others ran away as fast as they could. Luna and Sterling ran away to hide in the biggest tree in all of the park, the perfect hiding spot. They got to talking and decided to be best friends forever. While they were having a sweet moment they heard a very loud " boo!" from Peyton. The two girls screamed and fell out of the tree, but both of the girls weren't hurt because the tree had caught them in its soft vines. While the two girls picked themselves up Peyton said "Im going to go look for Haven and Indigo" and he left. After Luna and Sterling got up Sterling had realized that her two hundred dollar diamond barn owl necklace broke in half but none of diamonds in the necklace fell out of place. She was very sad though, her grandmother had given her that necklace and she always felt like it was a little piece of her grandmother that was always with her. And no before you freak out and start getting emotional no she didn't die she just lived in another state and Sterling didn't get to see her that often. Sterling started crying and Luna was trying everything she could to comfort Sterling, Luna gave Sterling a hug and wiped her tears. Peyton came back with Haven and Indigo they all asked what had happened. Luna told them what happened, they walked a crying Sterling over to her mom. She asked what happened and sat with Sterling and gave her a kiss on the forehead. The day was ending and Luna's mom had walked over and said it was time to go, as did Haven and Indigo's dad, Peyton went home with the twins. All five kids said goodbye to each other. Luna and her mom started walking away but before they could leave the park Sterling ran up to Luna and said " I want you to have the other half of my broken necklace". Luna, shocked she smiled said "really?", Sterling said " its broken yes, but that doesn't mean it cant still be used". Luna accepted the other half happily and asked her mom to help her make a necklace out of the other half. She wore it for for about a day then then never wore it again and it got lost somewhere in her room. All the kids went home that day and never saw each other again, except Sterling and Peyton who became best friends.

Eight years later. During that time apart of course like any other human being they all went through childhood trauma's, happy moments, sad moments and just " normal people" things.

They all happen to meet in the same class when it was the first day of sixth grade in 2013. Haven, Sterling, and Peyton where already sitting in class quietly and awkwardly in class as kids do on the first day of middle school. Indigo was in another class. Enters Luna, she had grown up to be quiet but still feisty when called for. The first person she sees when she walks through the door is Haven. The only words that could come to her head when she saw him was wow, she thought he was the most beautiful boy she ever seen, in her eyes he was absolutely perfect. But then she saw Indigo at lunch later that day and thought the same thing. I guess you could say it was love at first sight in a weird in love with two people kind of way. But nothing would happen between all of them until the next year. Fast forward to October, it was sixth period and Luna had sat next to Sterling not remembering that they met when she was young. Quick pause, they had all known each other from the year before but they just don't remember that they knew each other from when they were kids. But fate had other plans on that day October sixth twenty thirteen, Luna's life would change forever. Luna and Sterling were sitting across from each other and started becoming friends, laughing and having a good time, and sharing secrets. Sterling shared a giant secret with Luna, she felt that Luna was trust worthy and safe. Sterling told Luna that she could see ghost, at first Luna didn't her and well you know that saying " I'll believe it when I see it" well lets say that phrase took on a whole new meaning after sixth grade. Not only would Sterling be able to see ghost but they also would possess her as well. It's not like Sterling did this intentionally or was playing a cruel joke on Luna, but of course thats what Luna thought, I mean how could she not. Everyday in sixth period Sterling would get possessed and it was really traumatic for Luna she would go home and be scared the rest of the day like the ghost were going to get her. Of course her first thought was to stop being friends with Sterling but she didn't know what to do truthfully, but we're just getting started. Luna and Sterling got through that time and everything was fine because it had stopped happening. Now I'm pretty sure you're wondering what happened to our three boys and truthfully nothing in that year. Now the following year is where things got really interesting. It was the first day of seventh grade and the year seemed promising. Luna had just gotten her braces off and Sterling's hair got longer and blonder. Luna and Haven's romance was first blossoming but it wasn't your average middle school crush, it was love. Haven sat directly behind Luna and started staring at her a lot, and really thought she was beautiful. She'd turn around and they'd look into each other's eyes and both of them just knew they fell in love and it was magic. Haven found himself completely in love and that scared him so much. So instead of telling her the truth he hurt her by dating every other girl he could just to prove to himself that he wasn't in love, of course he didn't mean too but from his perspective she was the one and he didn't like that he unintentionally found the love of his life at fourteen, you know how teenage boys are, wanting to explore their "options" and all that nonsense. Also there was another problem his brother was also in love with Luna and they argued about it and Indigo had no intention of backing down and figured if Haven wasn't going to do something he was, so he did. One afternoon after school he went up to her and flat out asked her to be his girlfriend. She was shocked, mind you Luna felt the same way about Indigo as she did about Haven, it was complicated but without hesitation and thinking that maybe Haven didn't like her, she said yes. Luna and Indigo were together for about one month during this month while it magical and Luna was very much in love in the back of her head was Haven. Haven had came up with a plan to ensure that they would break up and Luna would come running to him. He was going to come up with an illusion that made it seem like Indigo was cheating on her. And that's exactly what he did. Oh yeah before I continue Sterling and Peyton had gotten together and dated for about a month but broke up because well Peyton " wanted to see other people". Peyton was very much in love with Sterling and they were the love of each others lives but it'll always be easier to date someone you don't like knowing that it'll end and you'll be okay if it does. Sterling was sad but at least she had Luna's drama with the twins to keep her entertained and distracted. Luna of course comforted Sterling and her broken heart which Sterling appreciated very much. Now back to our love triangle Haven's plan ended up working and Luna and Haven broke up. Haven and Indigo actually started to physically fight, Peyton broke up the fight and after things calmed down Luna went looking for Haven and told him the truth about her feelings for him, she kissed him then Indigo walked in, he was furious. Luna and Haven stopped kissing and Luna went after him and yelled " Indigo wait, I'm sorry!", she was crying and Indigo yelled " if you want to be with him just go be with him!" and he walked away. Luna felt bad but she knew she wanted to be with Haven. Haven came and grabbed her hand and said it was going to be okay. A month had gone by and Haven and Luna were happy but Indigo made it his mission to ruin their relationship and he did. Indigo was very good with computers and made a fake recording of Haven saying that he was only with Luna to make his ex girlfriend Celeste jealous, who he had dated all of sixth grade. One day Haven and Luna were at the park just hanging out and Indigo came and played the recording and Luna was absolutely heart broken. She ran home, luckily Sterling and Peyton were at the park hanging out, even though they had broken up they were still best friends and were still in love but we'll get to that eventually. Luna got home and Sterling followed tiredly, Luna only lived a few minutes from the park. Sterling asked her what happened and Luna explained, Sterling consoled Luna as she cried and sat on the steps of her house. Haven, Indigo, and Peyton showed up and Haven tried explaining that what Indigo said was a lie but she didn't believe him and ended up breaking up with him and told him to leave. A heartbroken Haven punched Indigo in the face and the two started fighting again. Peyton again broke up the fight and Luna ran inside and Sterling followed. All three boys went home and that was that. Luna had deciding to completely end this whole thing with the twins over text and leave it at that. On the same day that Luna and Haven broke up Sterling had to tell Luna something. They both sat on Luna's bed and and Sterling flat out said " I'm a vampire!" Luna started laughing and said " good one". Sterling knew Luna wasn't going to believe her so she showed her fangs. Luna in complete in utter shock backed away and was so terrified she couldn't even speak. Sterling apologized and said " please I'm sorry for scaring you let me explain, I'm not going to hurt you I would never". So Luna sat and Sterling explained everything. That witches, vampires, and werewolves were real. She also explained how her and Luna and the three boys were the second set of original dopplegangers. What that meant was they all had older versions of themselves existing out in the world who were vampires that would watch them and have been watching them since they were born. Sterling had also explained that the first three vampires in the world named James, Bernard, and Adeline were watching them as well and have been watching them since they were born because their blood was very important and was the key ingredient for any Big witchcraft spell. The first three vampires that ever existed also wrote a popular TV show about the five kids and their extraordinary lives, which they would all find out about and be furious about. Sterling also explained how before she turned into a vampire and she was already a witch and because she turned into a vampire she was now what you called a witch vampire. Luna asked Sterling why is she telling her all of this and said " because you and me were not mean't to live normal lives, we were mean't to change the world", Luna asked her what she meant by that and Sterling said " you and I have the ability to turn into a vampire a witch and a werewolf all at the same time, we were born to be stronger than any supernatural creature to ever exist, we were born to bring the supernatural community together, our lives were mean't for so much more then you could ever imagine". Luna was so in shock she started laughing and then crying. Sterling consoled her and then looked up on Luna's night stand and saw a necklace with half of a diamond barn owl and said " oh my god, I remember this I gave it to a girl at the park when I was five, oh my god that was you!" and Luna said " that was you who gave it to me!". The two girls knew in that moment they had each other's back for life and Sterling started to teach Luna magic, she became truly a gifted witch. Sterling also vowed to protect Luna no matter what. And over the years many situations took place involving witches, vampire, and everything in between. See the thing is all these movies about the supernatural no one ever talks about the trauma and how it really affects a person, but I'll get into that more later in our story. Now Haven, Indigo, and Peyton went through their own " supernatural story ", Luna and Sterling had no idea about anything. In eighth grade Haven and Indigo took a family trip to Los Angeles, California and one night they were walking in a bad neighborhood, and out of no where Luna's older doppleganger showed up and turned Haven and Indigo into vampires, but there was a catch Luna's older doppleganger cursed them so that every other new moon they would turn human until the next new moon they would turn back into vampires. They came back from California and told Peyton what happened. He was already a practicing witch and knew about the supernatural and Haven and Indigo had learned that they were also very powerful vampire hunters. Peyton asked Haven to turn him into a vampire and because he was born a witch who was already practicing he would become a witch vampire and he did. Over the years they went through their own story and went through a lot as well. But they always bowed to have each others back no matter what. Which now leads us to the year that defined it all and changed everything...

It was the start of junior and a lot had happened over the years. Luna, Sterling, Peyton, Haven, and Indigo were all seventeen years old by this point. It was August 18th, 2018. Luna and Sterling had most of the same classes as best friends in a fictitious story should. They were both looking forward to moving on with their lives and not worrying about their three idiots anymore, which over the last few years thats what it was. after eighth grade Sterling and Peyton stopped talking to each other because Peyton just decided to up and leave her and never come back. Luna, Haven, and Indigo's love triangle died out after eighth grade too but Luna, Haven, and Indigo still remained friends. Back to the story, It was the first week of school and Luna and Peyton had one class together that Sterling just happened not to be in. Luna would often tease Sterling about Peyton because she knew no matter what that Sterling loved Peyton and always would and could see it in Sterling's eyes so much that every guy that Sterling talked too and dated over the years she wanted so badly to be Peyton but they weren't. So Sterling would get uneasy and always tell Luna " I don't love him, please stop making jokes" as if Sterling didn't already know the obvious, that no matter who she'd date they would never be him. And it's not like she didn't want to be with Peyton, it's just Peyton, Haven, and Indigo weren't the best guys in the world, they were your average hot guys who were players. In Luna's defense she was only trying to tell Sterling to not waste time and in spite of all the "obstacles and misunderstandings'" just to tell him how she really felt and to not be left with so much regret. But Sterling never saw it that way she was always too prideful and hot and cold about the subject, but its not her fault she was doing the best she could considering they all were just kids. Wow I keep getting off track but I figured as long as my story is you guys could use some more detail considering I'm not the world's most reliable narrator. But back on track, Luna sent Sterling a photo of Peyton in class and once again teased Sterling. Sterling told Luna to please stop and she said fine and that she wouldn't do it again and she didn't and was really going to let go of everything. The class period went by and Luna was talking to a friend of both her's and Luna said that in the next month Sterling will be switching schools. But of course she said it loudly enough on purpose so that Peyton would over hear and he did. Sterling couldn't believe what happened next, she got a text from an unknown number and it was Peyton explaining why he left all those years, that he was vampire witch, and that he wanted to see her and talk to her. Sterling excited and shocked sent the messages to Luna. Luna was completely shocked and didn't expect this to happen. On Saturday of that week Sterling and Peyton met up for the first time in five years it was awkward but full of sparks. They talked for a couple hours and he told her he had to leave to protect her from enemies that he had that wanted to capture her and use her for her powers. Also that Haven and Indigo were vampires and have been for the last four years. In the middle of the conversation while Sterling was talking Peyton kissed her. She asked him " why'd you do that " he replied " because I wanted to see what it was like to kiss someone you love again ", you see Peyton had many girlfriends over the years one after the other but he was never happy truly happy with any of them. After Peyton left, Sterling called Luna and told her everything. Luna was shocked and completely stunned. Over the course of the next four months the boys would come over on the weekends when Sterling and Luna would hangout but they caused a lot of mischief and put Sterling and Luna through a lot of traumatic events. See what happened was since Sterling was a stronger witch because she had been practicing longer she had the abilities to do what they needed, and what they needed was to defeat this witch coven that wanted to cause the boys harm all because they were vampires. On what was one of the worst days Luna and Sterling would ever experience in their lives it happened. It was December 11th, 2018 at 10:00pm Sterling told Luna that the witches were angry and vengeful. They wanted to ruin Luna and Sterlings lives forever... But what Sterling and Luna didn't know is that the witches were planning to cause harm to the girls. And the boys also became very aware of the fact that they hurt Luna and Sterling. So they made a deal with the witches a month before, the coven proposed that they would have to become human, forget everything supernatural thats ever happened to them, forget that the supernatural exist in the first the place, and the worst one forget that they ever met Luna and Sterling in the first place, also forget that they ever were in love with them . That was the only way to save the girls .. so Haven, Indigo, and Peyton agreed. They figured it was the only way to write their wrongs and be selfless for once but also they wanted to run away from it all in a sense. Sterling had found out a couple hours before and was completely heart broken but not surprised, you see Sterling had a hard life but as long as her and Peyton existed under the same sky and looked at the same stars every night she knew the moon would always seem brighter then it really was and the full black night sky didn't seem so heavy. Luna as well in all her complicatedness knew that one day everything would've worked itself out. Truth is she always truly loved Haven more, he was the one. He was her everything, the moon, stars, sun, and galaxy. Sterling made a fight out of nowhere with Luna because she couldn't even fathom the kind of pain she was going to experience in the next two hours, she didn't mean too and she didn't want too but its only way she knew what to do was to push away the only person who came second to Peyton, Luna because when the one thing on earth that you love the most is gone forever, its like a domino effect everything else in line is just so easy to let go of. It was midnight Luna had to go home and she was crying and wanted the world to end right then and there. After she left, the withes started the spell in an old abandoned house near Sterling's house where everything was happening that night. Sterling rushed in to the abandoned house trying to stop everything and people from the coven grabbed her and let her watch as they made Peyton forget everything first on purpose, his face went blank and then he fell asleep. Sterling watched as this happened the entire world stopped and she stopped fighting, mouth open with tears in her eyes, complete and utter shock. While all this was happening, Haven yelled " please tell Luna I love her! ". The witches found a way to make sure everything appeared normal and the boys were put on a sleeping spell and brought home to their parents, who were also spelled to forget anything " unusual". Sterling walked home by the time everything was completely over it was 4:00 am, she didn't sleep that night. Luna slept but barely, she was so heart broken. A month later Sterling switched schools and Luna was all alone, but over that school year she became very close with Indigo who she realized she was also very much in love with but it was too late.

It wouldn't be until four years later when Luna and Sterling started speaking again. They both decided they wanted answers to what happened and an explanation to why they experienced the supernatural in the first place. So they went to New Orleans, where everything witchy existed. They found out the truth about everything and were furious. They wanted to set the world on fire and they could if they wanted too. Apparently it was all a lie the boys weren't doing the horrible things that the girls thought they were. Also I might've forget to mention that the girls didn't see what was happening. The only way they knew something was happening was when they felt a bad feeling in their heart they knew something was wrong. They were traumatized but unsure of what happened, it was a mystery you get the gist. They were in New Orleans for a week on the last day of their trip they were going to make the boys remember but before could finish the spell they were kidnapped and forcefully stripped of their powers and abilities. It was the the same witches that took away the people most dearest to them and changed their lives forever. They were going to spell the girls forget that they even met, anything supernatural, the boys, and the fact that they even loved them. As the spell was happening they both were trying to fight and kept yelling " no, no, no please don't take it all away" as they were crying and yelling the last thing they saw was a bright light and then everything went black. The next day Luna and Sterling woke in their beds back in Florida not remembering a thing. It's as if all the pieces of their hearts were missing, it was a strange feeling they couldn't quite recognize but for the first time in their entire lives they had a human normal day. Also remember how I said the spell Luna and Sterling were doing to make the boys remember didn't work, well it did actually. That same morning Haven, Indigo, and Peyton woke up vampires again, every single detail about their lives came back and all their feelings for Luna and Sterling came rushing back it's as if their entire hearts fell back into place. The first thing they did was they went to find Luna and Sterling. But a witch had found them and told them everything, they are started crying so hard and thought how could they have wasted so much time all those years ago. But alas life had a way of teaching you that regret can last forever. The boys went to go find the girls and watched them from a distance, they shape shifted in cats and just watched them. Did I forget to mention vampires can turn into cats? Well now you know. Instead of finding way to make the girls remember the boys decided to get to know the girls again separately. No I'm just kidding, remember when I said they weren't the nice guys? Relax their not absolutely horrible. Eventually the girls remembered everything.
