Long ago there was a beautiful young woman, she longed to begin her journey of knowing who she really was. The journey would take her to the Goddess pear tree. It was a tree that helped women find and align with their true purpose and highest self.
The young woman's name was Fordelia, her skin was golden and bright just as the sun, she had beautiful thick black hair. Her eyes were brown, in the sunlight they would glow in a unrealistic way. Any person that looked at her instantly fell in love with her. There was just something unexplainable about her. She also attained a heart of gold.
Fordelia had always been beautiful and unique, though she had struggled to see it for herself. She had many talents, those talents included; writing heart touching poetry, singing in the most angelic way, creating art pieces that touched the inner spirit of a person, she also had to ability to heal - though should didn't understand it, she was able to release pain from others in ways that was unheard of.
She lived in a fairly small village with her mother, surrounded by Earth's greatest gifts - trees, plants, animals, as well as a peaceful river just along the way from the village.
On the day of the full moon, Fordelia decided that she would no longer be afraid, it was time that she found herself. She wanted to be able to embrace everything about herself. She had heard about girls going to the Goddess Pear Tree - it was a tree that turned women into real Goddesses if you ate the fruit from it.
She knew the journey would be long so she rose early, she wanted to eat the fruit while the full moon was shining bright. By leaving early she'd make it there before dark, and she would wait for the right time to eat the fruit from the Goddess pear tree.
The night prior Fordelia packed up a small bag, which included; a light for night, food and water, a knife for protection, her journal and writing utensil for expressing her feelings along the way.
Fordelia was the only one awake, she knew her mother wouldn't allow her go out on her own. With everyone sound asleep - the atmosphere feeling like the Earth was still. She saw and took her chance, she slipped out of tiny hut she stayed in with her mother. She began to run as fast as she could to make it out of the exit point of the village. The sun was beginning to rise up. Her heart beating fast with fear and excitement. She feared she would be caught, though excited to finally know who she truly was. There was a fire inside of her that instantly got bigger, she felt something change inside of her. Her fear diminished, she was ready and no longer afraid.
She ran for as long as she could away from the village, with her heart thumping, she slowed down and just smiled. She wasn't close but by making it where she currently was - she had felt as if she did. Taking a sip of her water, Fordelia had came across an animal she hadn't seen in the village in a very long time - it was a dog. Though the dog looked liked a wolf, she immediately knew it wasn't. Fordelia wasn't afraid, he walked up to her and placed his head down as if he was showing her respect. In confusion and in awe she began petting him - there was a rush that passed through her, she suddenly realized that he came there to guide her.
The dog was black and white with striking blue eyes, Fordelia knew he needed a name - she decided on Archer. He quickly began to respond to the name, Fordelia and Archer formed a connection as if they've always known each other.
Archer stayed beside Fordelia, never leaving her side. They continued walking and she began singing what the villagers would call her "angel song" - the sun was shining brightly, a swarm of butterflies appeared. Fordelia had never seen something like it, she spun around feeling like a happy child - Archer tried catching them in a playful manner. Fordelia was laughing. The butterflies were all different colors - such as a rainbow from the sky. She brought out her journal and began to write about her experience so far - she wrote a few beautiful poems, drew a picture of Archer and the butterflies.
With hours of walking passing by Fordelia knew they would be there before the setting of the sun. They crossed paths with a beautiful tiny house, with flowers surrounding the area and it was decorated on the outside in ways she had never seen before. Just as they both approached, a tall and stunning young woman (not too much older than Fordelia) dressed in white, with long thick black hair and stunning brown eyes - opened the door. It was as if she knew they would be arriving. " Hello Fordelia" - the woman said. Fordelia was a bit shocked that this beautiful woman, that looked like a Goddess herself knew her name. "He-he-hello" - Fordelia stuttered, "how do you know my name?". The woman stepped outside and said "within time, you shall know... would you like to come in?" The Goddess like woman replied - Fordelia had immediately said yes in her head, the woman said "well come on in, darlin". Fordelia's face just looked stuck, but she quickly snapped out of it and went inside the woman's home, though is looked tiny on the outside it was big and spacious on the inside. It was creatively decorated, leaving Fordelia in awe. The woman had tea and food laid out already, all foods that Fordelia loved. "Miss, what is your name?". The woman smiled, relaxed her eyes and fixed her lips to say "My name is Delia" - wow our names are so similiar Fordelia thought. "I know" Delia had replied.
Though the woman was reading Fordelia's mind and responding to each thought she had. She wasn't afraid, it was actually the first time Fordelia had felt this safe and comfortable around someone (other than her mother). Fordelia began gazing at Delia and was falling in love. She had beauty out of this world, her smile brought upon many emotions, her voice so angelic and soft spoken.
"Let's eat" - Delia said, they both began eating all of the lovely foods that were laid out in front of them. Delia had even fed Archer and gave him fresh water. "How did you know I was coming?" Fordelia said with her mouth full, "Within time, you shall know" she had said once more, her mouth was also full of food. They both began laughing hysterically, Fordelia eyes began to gaze around the not so tiny house. There was beautiful artwork, many poetry books, as well as knick-knacks that looked like they possessed magical powers. "I have a gift for you my love" Delia said, "for me?" Fordelia replied. Delia took a final sip of tea and then went to an area where an old beautiful wooden chest was placed. She returned with something that was wrapped up in cloth. Fordelia made space on the table for the object so Delia could place it in front of her. "Close your eyes please" Delia said, Fordelia obeyed and had her eyes shut without trying to peek. "You may now open them" - Delia said very softly and angelic like. As Fordelia opened her eyes, she instantly began crying tears of joy. Right before her laid a 12 inch wooden wand coated in amethyst healing crystals. One that Fordelia once dreamt of, "is there a way I can repay you for all you've done?" she said trying to hold back the rest of her tears. "Within time, you shall see" Delia said once more. "Use it as you did in your dreams but only after you reach the Goddess pear tree" Delia was saying. "Okay, I will! Thank you for all you have done for us" Fordelia said as she hugged Delia tight. Swoosh - a sudden gush of wind that Fordelia heard, she turned her head to the door then back to Delia but she had just vanished into thin air. "Within time, you shall see" is all Fordelia kept hearing.
Some time had passed by but Fordelia and Archer would still make it before dark. She grabbed the wand and placed it in her hair, creating a bun. They began running, they ran until Fordelia couldn't run anymore. Breathing heavily she took a short rest to break for water also so she could write about her experience with the Goddess like woman named Delia. "Almost there Archer" he barked in response, with so much excitement. Suddenly a wild cry from an animal that sounded like they were in extreme pain shot through both of their ears. Confused and worried Fordelia began search for the source of the sound. She found a golden doe ready to give birth to a fawn. Fordelia ran quickly to assist in any way possible, petting the doe, Fordelia began to sing her "Angel song", she could see the fawn's head coming out of the mother. She sang louder with more intent to heal with her eyes closed. She opened them and seen the fawn was right there ready to come out. She helped the mother by touching it's stomach and head at the same time. Before Fordelia's eyes the little fawn had came all the way out. Fordelia cried, it was the first time she had seen a life come into this world. The doe bowed her head to Fordelia, she gave the doe some bread and continued to be on her way with Archer.
With the sun getting ready to go down, the forest started to become even more magical. Hearing sounds of water, bugs, and animals. The mood was peaceful yet playful, just ahead The Goddess pear tree had sat. Fordelia's eyes widened, she thought about the journey she's been on. The things she's seen and came across, the love that quickly grew for Archer, the beautiful swarm of butterflies, the Goddess like woman named Delia, the fact that she had seen a birth right before her eyes. It all began to soak in, early within the day Fordelia started off with fear and her thoughts tried to make her doubt herself... but she knew she would be ending the night with bravery and self discovery. She knew that tomorrow she would be a Goddess...
Fordelia lit the lantern knowing the sun was going to be gone any minute, her and Archer walked towards the tree. It wasn't far ahead but it wasn't at arms reach either. As they continued to walk she began singing a new song, one she's never heard before but she could feel it through her entire body, the vibrations of the song started to fill her up with pure love. Archer was enjoying the tune, they were so close to the Goddess tree, suddenly a green light started glow around her and Archer. To Fordelia's surprise Archer started to rise up from the floor of the forest. Archer himself began howling an angelic tune. Fordelia had seen that Archer had began fading away, she was confused and began crying and screaming out "no, please don't go... we've come this far, you can't leave now". In a angelic male voice Archer said "within time, you shall see" - he faded into a small green ball of light and floated right in her heart. Fordelia fell down to the ground and began crying out, touching her heart center. She felt as if she had lost her only best friend. After releasing her tears, she looked up to the dark sky and seen the moon full and bright. She wiped her tears, started singing a healing angelic tune as she made her way to the Goddess pear tree.
The tree is now in arm's reach, all she has to do is grab the fruit and eat it while looking at the moon. She paused and thought about all that has happened from that early morning to the current moment. She laughed and then started to cry while realizing that it was all apart of the plan. Fordelia grabbed the pear, looked at the moon and sang a tune before taking a bite. She sat there and embraced the moonlight, after finishing up the precious magical fruit, Fordelia passed out with a smile on her face.
The warm glowing sun had awoken her, to her surprise Delia and Archer were right in front of her face waiting for her. Fordelia jumped up with excitement, ready to cry again but stopping herself. She didn't need to cry, she just needed to embrace what was going on even though she had no clue. "Within time, you shall see huh?" Fordelia said, "yes indeed" - Delia replied with. Fordelia began to hug Delia tightly then petting and playing with Archer afterwards.
"Sit and let me explain, all you need to do is just simply listen to every word. May you please do that for me?" Deliah said. Fordelia nodded in agreement, she sat down and Archer sat right beside her. She was ready and willing to hear everything Delia had to say.
" My name as you know is Delia, but my full name is Fordelia. I am you and you are me. You are everything you've always wanted to be, Archer and I we became a team. We had once met right inside of a dream, you came here to become a Goddess... But before you were born you were already one. See you shine bright... as bright as the sun, I am you and you are me...Together we have won. Within this time we shall sync. As you grow, you will become me. Not too long ago I was you, the love in our hearts have always been true. We held onto hope even when we were blue, we remained nice to those that were rude. We healed our hearts, we healed our soul. Oh how this life will take a toll, don't give up just go with the roll. We took back the power that man once stole."
As Delia finished up those final words, Fordelia and her highest Goddess self came together as one. They both rose up just as the sun... They grabbed each other's hands, and memories coming in as one. Fordelia closed her eyes as the magic begun. A hug to bring them closer together, Fordelia seen the change in the weather. She closed her eyes for a moment then opened them up, Delia was gone with the wind once again. This time Fordelia was left with love and guidance, Archer was still there which was very surprising. She gave him a hug and accepted her alignment.
From that day forward she become Delia, she stayed in a tiny house in the forest with Archer. She grew into this even more beautiful woman and grew immaculate powers, one day she returned to the village to share her knowledge. Everyone welcomed her, including her mother. " I knew one day I'd see my beautiful healing daughter" - "Everyone, please address me as Delia" - they all nodded in agreement. Warm smiles upon their faces, some even crying. They would all pray at night, they never stopped trying. It was all for Delia, all for her journey..
The Goddess Pear Tree had really set her free, The Goddess pear tree helped her see things she couldn't see.
The End.
