The Epeloto

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Katlin. She was just eight when it happened. She met an Epeloto, a fierce, strong, and mighty creature. It was neon and as small as her hand. She named it Shenon. It grew up with her and guided her along the way, until one fateful day Shenon disappeared. When she woke up he was gone. Her father was a police chief and told his policemen if they ever found Shenon they would be king. No one ever did find Shenon. Some painted there dogs to look like Shenon but he never believed. Katlin often went to a small little lake behind their house to find Kentons small, glowing, water creature. but today they weren't there all the magic had just gone. Katlin was left blue. Her father gave her an axolotl and said it was the rarest Kenton. She believed him for a while but soon moved out and stopped believing in magic. She was eighteen and had friends who believed in magic and found Shenon on the news. She didn't believe them, so they set out on a journey crossing many dangers walking day and night to find Shenon. finally they Shenon found he was the size of a tiger. They put chains on him and brought him to Katlin. She then remembered him and magic. The Kentons were back, as long as she believed, she could find Shenon if lost. The next day the water at the lake was black there were dead Kentons washed up on the shore and Shenon was very ill. Something was killing the magic. Katlin had to find out what it was and stop it, before it effected her. The magical world was in grave danger and she had to stop it, but she didn't know where to start, so she looked for clues around the lake. She picked up a jar of black water, a dead Kenton and Shenon's spit. This all might help her. She ordered a DNA testing kit, a ticket to Embolus (a near by science lab) , and a detective slip ( allows you to get a detective on the case instantly). When the DNA kit came she tested the water first. It was declared diseased. So she looked up if any other places were diseased only another small river but it was spreading fast. On the other side of the lake was a black figure with a pointy hat and it was holding a stick. Katlin ran to the other side but when she got there it was gone. Then at her DNA test kit on the other side there it was the figure. It grabed the kit and disappeared. Katlin got to the other side and saw the stick laying on the ground where the kit used to be. The stick had markings on the side, when she picked it up the wind blew hard she ran and took cover in her house. In the living room she saw the figure more clear now. It was an old lady in a witch like hat.'' Give me my wand back you mortal," the old lady yelled. Katlin hucked the stick at the witch, but the witch started to spin and get tinier and tinier till she was the size of a thumb. The wand stayed the same size so katlin took it to her room as for the witch Katlin mailed her to china where she can never harm that family again, and the lake slowly began to clear. Shenon felt better and secretly the dad was right the axolotl was a rare Kenton so she set him free.
