Chapter One: The Battle for Humanity Begins
The night she seemed calm, considering that the family of five was looking at losing their mother. Malek is a sleep-paralysis demon. And he has taken control of Darla, a middle-aged mixed mother of three. While invading her brain from outside the house, Malek possessed Darla. Her body began to distort, as her husband and three children looked on in horror. Standing in the shadows, Malek grinned as he made Darla rise. Darla’s eyes were glazed over as she walked towards a duvet by the hallway leading to the kitchen.
Tika steps out onto the family’s farmhouse porch chanting in Sanskrit. Her hands formed symbols and sigils in the air as she walked down the stairs. Tika looked ahead into the dark towards the tree line, a cloaked figure with beaming yellow eyes gleaming back at her; a raspy-toned voice spoke: “Oh, my chi-ild, your power is pure and strong…” the voice echoed. Tika continued walking towards the beginning of the tree line as the voice continued to grow; “oooh my POWER IS STRONGER!”
At that moment, Tika balled her right hand into a fist as she lifted it in the air and belted out, “I, the Entity Slayer, condemn you demon to the pits of Gaia for eternity!” Driving her fist with such might into the ground that she began stumbling to maintain her balance. The earth began to crack open, and three Auras came from Tika’s left, right, and behind to drive their staffs into the earth, helping the finger-like roots pull Malek down into the pits of Gaia.
As the earth closed, the Auras rejoiced with a “Praise Gaia!” Unbeknownst to them, a dark shadowy entity was watching their every move. As the Auras surrounded Tika for a blessing, the Shinto Aura, Pak turned toward the shadowy figure. Before he could open his mouth, he began to turn into stone. A celestial being with fairy-like appendages became visible in the night sky. A soft voice began whispering in an ominous tone, “She is coming, and humankind’s time will end…”
Nothing like Tika has ever experienced; this celestial omen triggered her. Standing in dismay, she closed her eyes and whispered, “Kofi, guide me, king…” Tika took a step back and relived the moments Kofi took her to meet the Devis of India. It was there that the ancient prophecy that predated written language was revealed about Celestria; the Celestial Primordial Entity would decimate humankind for their greed, envy, and hate. But only a supreme being born of humankind could unlock the Supreme Power of Gaia. It was also prophesized that this being would possess power older than the stars themselves. It is said that Gaia’s power is the only power that can stop a Primordial Entity.
Years Earlier….
Tika and Kofi had traveled to the Shinto Garden, Shi-Dandria, in Japan to give birth to their firstborn, whose gender was unknown. Kofi had foreseen years before meeting Tika, that his ancient magical blood would be transferred to a child, whose power would match their mother’s—the one prophesied to stop the Primordial Deities’ rise. As Muso, the Shinto Priest spoke to Tika about the ritual of bringing into this world a supreme child, the walls surrounding Shi-Dandria began to shake. The earth around the trees crackled, and from the sky came down Kunji, one of Nanuck’s five-star generals, his voice rattled the eardrums as he spoke. “Bring forth the one they call The Entity Slayer, as her sacrifice will spare your kind.”
Muso called to the other Shinto Priests and Priestesses to form the ancient protective shield. Kofi summoned the other Auras to unite and defend Tika. Tika felt the child kicking, she knew without the sacred waters of Shi-Dandria she would not survive the birth of this child. The contractions grew with such force, that Tika screamed in pain as electricity began to spark in her fingertips, she could feel the surge of ultimate power growing deep within. “KOFI!” Tika yelled out in pain. Kofi’s senses felt Tika’s pain from across the gardens. At the same time, several sprite demons were heading towards Tika as she crawled towards the sacred pond Buringā Obu Raifu, which means “Bringer of Life.” At that moment, Ase Revna, the Aura of the Vikings sent a thunder shield in front of Tika as she flew down from the sky.
Kofi stopped in his tracks as he conjured the Shrunken Head hoard that swept in and engulfed the Sprite demons in a fire. Kofi rushed to Tika’s side, but before he could reach her, Kunji sent a fire bolt that struck Kofi in the heart, killing him in front of her. Tika yelped so loud that her screams killed all Sprite demons within a 50-mile radius. Her body was engulfed by a bright yellowish orange light that blinded the Auras, Tika elevated from the ground, her eyes glazed over, her belly glowing, she raised her right fist high above her head and yelled in Swahili “Mleta Uzima mharibifu wa mwanadamu Mimi ni uwezo mimi ni mwepesi, na ni mimi ninayemaliza vita hivi” [Bringer of Life destroyer of man I am power I am light, and it is I who ends this fight] and she drove her fist down into the earth with such force, the Auras had to shield themselves. Kunji was decimated, with nothing left to drag into the earth; something Tika had never done.
A few seconds after the smoke cleared, several Shinto Priestesses rushed to Tika’s side as they carried her into the sacred pond and performed the birthing ritual. Tika laid there weakened and distracted, that the infant’s cries seemed so distant. Muso blessed the child as he passed Tika the newborn. As she looked down, Tika saw the brightest green eyes staring back at her, it was her daughter, Roya’Tea (Roya) Reign.
