The Disappearance of Sam

Sam was a man who was intrigued by the many facets and intricacies of nature. He loved to travel and see the beautiful lands, animals, seas. He loved to record his travels and discoveries. He was so fascinated with everything nature and loved to sit and watch his many videos/pictures of where he had been and all of the wonderful things he had seen.

Though his endless memorabilia remain for others to experience, it's a shame that Sam is no longer anywhere to be found due to a peculiar event that occured a couple years ago. It actually happened while he was here in our own hometown. I guess better home than elsewhere, but no one really knows where Sam actually could have ended up by now.

It was a nice warm day when Sam took his camera out to his favorite spot on Blu Cove Beach. He went there all the time and this day had been no different. He went out and pitched his umbrella and just sat and enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks, the chilly blue water reaching the tips of his outstretched toes. He enjoyed the lovely smell of the salt filled sea, the sounds of the many birds flying above. He fell asleep and awoke to realize he had stayed until it was almost dark and everyone had left the beach. This was a common occurence for Sam who loved to bask in nature on a daily basis. He packed up and was getting ready to head back home for the night to get some dinner and get into bed. Sam had started walking the path behind the trees that faced the beach, when he heard a splashing sound that stood out from the normal sound of the beach waves. He moved some bushes out of the way so that he could get a better look at the beach. He noticed there was a figure close to the water that he couldn't really make out. When he looked down to start up his camera and looked back up the figure was already gone. Sam was so excited that he decided to record himself anyway. He talked in a hush tone about how he had seen something on the beach and wondered what it was...he proclaimed that he would be back the next day to try and examine this further.

The next day like clockwork, Sam prepped to go out to Blu Cove Beach for a relaxing day. He got there in the late afternoon this day and had his lunch on the beach and took a few shots of scenery afterwards. He then started to read one of his favorite books until he dozed off. The sound of a splash startled Sam awake and he immediately looked out onto the water and noticed a big ripple in the water. It was already dark and no one but Sam remained. He sat up and got his camera ready for action as he didnt' want to miss his chance this time to capture something great. He decided to pack up his things and stand in the path behind the trees where he stood the day before. He stood there and waited. A few minutes later he noticed a woman and a small child holding hands, walking alongside the shore. Sam started recording quietly. As the woman and child got more into the view of the camera, Sam could now see the woman and child were unclothed. He let out a small gasp as he was shocked by what he was seeing. Sam tried to remain quiet as he took a step closer to get a better view at what was going on. He wanted to stop filming and go see if the woman needed help but he was stuck in awe and wanted to see what would happen next, as this was a strange sight. As Sam stepped up it seemed to have startled the pair who were now right at the shoreline. The woman led the small child into the water by hand and they both walked deeper into it. Sam noticed the woman and child going down into the water, as if they were walking down some steps leading into the bottom of the ocean. They were so calm as if this was a normal thing for them. Sam couldn't believe what he had seen, he didn't know how to feel. Sam left the camera running from between the trees and decided to walk to the shoreline as well to investigate what he had just witnessed.

In Sam's last known footage, you can see him in the camera's view walking towards the sea and making his way into the water. Sam can then be seen walking down into the water just as the mysterious woman and child did before him. The camera kept rolling that night and Sam never came back up from the sea. Everything was still until the morning, when someone discovered his belongings still there. They played the footage back and couldn't believe what they had seen. The police were notified as well as a search team to try to possibly recover the bodies seen entering the water. Nothing was ever found, not even a single article of Sam's clothing which he was wearing when he went in. Nothing has ever washed up on shore. It's just been a weird occourence that happened on Blu Cove Beach that no one can make sense of to this very day.
