The Day the Comet Wiped Out the Thesaurs
January 18: Day 18 in the Story-a-Day Challenge

January 18 is National Thesaurus Day.
January 18 also ranks 278th (out of 366 dates) in birthdate popularity. That rank is just rank, offensive, stinky, gross, and noxious.
National Thesaurus Day and Birthdays... and, by implication, Conceptus days.
To wit:
August, going back in the calendar, is the most common birth month, which means that November is the most popular conception month, or... the November-to-remember, consummonthly consummating, Caesarly augusting, or consensually consorting, for slipping into something warm and cozy.
Is it me or is it cold in here? Or... frosty, chilly, nippy (not to be confused with nipply, which is, intuitively, the same thing), and frigid (or...not!)
In 2021, there were 3,659,289 births in the USA, up from those of 2020. We should assume COVID-19 made for some warm homebody days doing hot things with their warm bodies at home, or... copulating, mating, coitally conjoining, corporally cooperating, passing bills in sexual congress, getting knocked up, putting buns in the oven, adding deductions, making epithelium that's stratified, satisfied, sowing seeds of love, planting the next crop, fomenting fornication, laying pipe, traveling the tunnel of love, or — generally — doing dirty deeds one can imagine for using carnal knowlege'ing.
In other words, with quarantining arising, inbetweening was arounsing. Or, waxing synonymously sensitive... risqué bouquet, piquant--yes, you piq-can, and rising to the occasion, which as of late has been way too occasional for the occasion, or...tryst, indiscretion, interaction, intertwining, unbeknownsting, or downright fun.
If January 18 ranks 278th in popularity of Capricorn-concocting, then so does April 27 for all of the above brou-ha-ha, shennanigans, tomfoolery, hanky-panky, monkey business, and — methinks — hijinks. It's the 278th most popular day for making that little hardworking, ambitious, honest, and trustworthy (but also pessimistic, merialistic, and insensitive) caprine Capricorn.
So, were most folks were too damn busy on April 27 to fool around, make love, make whoopee, or do the deed? Alternatively, perhaps, perchance, just maybe April 27 is the 87th (365 minus 278) most popular day to use contraceptives, i.e, party-poopers, baby-stoppers, or the proverbial raincoat roadblocks.
Choose which dates you actually date on, and dote on, and then on and on and on.
