I huff as I stumble through the cave. I've been stuck in here for a few years. Originally it was meant to be a challenge to get stronger and learn to live off the land. I was supposed to be down here for exactly one year. When I went to the exit, it was blocked. My "friends" blocked me in after I entered. They wanted me dead I just wish I'd known that before.
I can feel my ribs. My body is weak and shaky. I can feel that this is the end of my life. I only wish that I had known that my "friends" would have done something like this sooner. My vision becomes blurry. All I can see now is darkness. My body hits the floor. The floor feels cold under my body. Everything feels cold right now. This is what dying feels like.
After laying there for a few seconds which felt like centuries I feel warmth. I suppose I'm finally passing over. The warmth feels more like love than anything. It feels like the purest of love I want to hold onto it and never let go. I feel the strength in my body return. I reach out to grab the warmth knowing that I won't touch anything, but I still want to reach out for it.
To my surprise what I grabbed wasn't air. It was a human arm. The flesh of a human. I hadn't touched another human in years but I would never forget what it feels like. I quickly open my eyes and see a man looking down at me. He had a tall and fit figure, long red hair held up in a ponytail, red eyes, and dark skin, and all he was wearing was loose-fitting pants. Yet he was the most handsome man I had ever seen.
I look at him not being able to take my gaze away from the beautiful man that stood before me. He smiled at me with a cocky look on his face. I quickly realize I'm still holding onto him. I jolt back letting go and hitting my back against the wall behind me. "Hello there," He says with a smile. Even his voice is majestic. I sit there silent, just admiring him. "Can you not speak?" he asks. "I can," I stutter. "That's good." I look at my hands which are no longer shaky, "it feels like all my strength has recovered and I'm not dying. How is that possible?"
He walks over to me and kneels in front of me, "because I returned it to you." "How is that even possible? Humans can't do magic." He smiles once again, "who said I was human?" I look at this beautiful man in front of me. There's no way he's not human. "I see you don't believe me," he says. I smirk, "Of course, I don't." he holds out his hand and flames surround it, "Do you believe me now?" I stare at him in shock, "What are you then? "A demon," he answers calmly.
I look at him in even more shock, "why would a demon save me?" He tilts my chin up to him, "I've been watching you in this cave for quite some time. You're a very spirited young lady and you're also very strong. That made me interested in you. I want you to become my bride." I feel my face heat up, "you're bride?" He nods, "Yes over this time I've fallen in love with you. I've never felt this way about anyone demon and especially not a human." I stare at him, "What do I get if I become your bride?" He smiles, "A lifetime of happiness and protection plus it'll get you out of here."
I feel flattered that a Demon wants me to become his bride. His deal is a good one and it sounds just like it came straight out of a novel. It's a great deal. "what's your name?" he smiles, "I'm Hero." I smile, "Well Hero, from this day forward I'll become your bride." I seal the deal with a kiss.
