'The Wink' by Louis Wain

Introduction

I saw this cute picture on The Enchanted Booklet on Facebook and wondered what those cats were doing and thinking:

The music is "Lucifer Sam" by Pink Floyd, with an animation by Steve Bobinski

The Cats Saw The Moon Wink At Them

No one knows what the cats do in the woods at night. They walk upright and hold paws, knowing that no one will see them, or so they think.

Humans are just providers for their wants, but the woods allow the cats to be free.

The Moon sees them, and the knwo the Moon well, and the Moon knows why they are there and what they do.

The cats see the Moon wink at them, but they know that the Moon will never give away their secrets. They are true friends who care for each other.

The Moon always winks.

What a great story, Mr. Mike and that image is cute. The moon gives the cats light to do what they do, and the wink is a way to say thank you for the company at night.
