The cabin in the woods has been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window as a teenage girl named Jane got closer and closer to the cabin. When Jane got to the door of the cabin she knocked, and there was no answer so she opened the door and went inside. Jane knew about the cabin in the woods and never thought she would go and see it for herself but there’s a first time for everything she thought as she got closer to where the candle was burning in the window. As she got closer to the candle it began to get colder with every step she took. When she was about three feet away from the candle it blew out. She was a little freaked out. “Maybe it was just the wind” she thought. But little did she know she couldn’t have been more wrong. When she was outside she saw a second story so she went to go find the staircase to the second story. After a few minutes of searching she finally found the staircase. She started feeling more and more sick to her stomach as she went further up the stairs. When she reached the top of the staircase she went to the first door she saw. When she opened the door she saw that it looked like it was a nursery. She walked to the middle of the room and the crib inside the room started rocking back and fourth. She tried to remain calm and think of a rational reason for why it was rocking all by itself, but she couldn’t. She went over to a shelf trying to ignore the rocking sound but what she saw were thousands of little plush dolls which looked as though they had an R on the right side of each of their feet. She backed up accidentally stepping on one and jumped when it said “mama” she decided to leave the nursery and go to a different room. She got to the door but before she opened the door she noticed red paint on the wall and it said “turn back while you still can.” She thought it was probably graffiti and whoever did it was trying to scare her, so she continued. She opened the next door and saw more red paint but this time it said “I was walking alone in the woods and I found this cabin. It looked abandoned so I went inside because it looked cool. When I got back home everybody looked surprised and told me that I have been gone for three years and my parents left because they didn’t know what to do since everybody thought I was dead. When you see this leave immediately because what feels like 2 minutes is actually 2 hours, and what feels like 2 hours is actually is 2 years. Sincerely, Rachel.” Jane didn’t know what to say so she continued to explore the room. She got to the bed and saw a key under the pillow and before leaving the room with the key she took one last glance at the message on the wall and left the room. She knew the key has to lead somewhere so she took the key and tried looking for any locked doors. There weren’t any upstairs so she went downstairs and saw a door and decided to try it. It worked. When she opened the door she realized it led to the basement and she was nervous but she decided to go anyway. When she got down she saw two doors one on her left another on her right. She went to the on on her left first and saw more red paint on the walls. There were different messages like “help” “save me” “you can’t be in here” and another that said “R is back.” Jane really wanted to know who R was and then it hit her. “Upstairs all the dolls had R’s on the foot, Rachel wrote the message on the wall in the bedroom, and this one says R is back, R is Rachel and something told her she’s not so good.” Jane decided to leave the room and go to the other room on the right. This room had many different things like doll parts, weapons, and loads of red paint on the walls. But then Jane thought for a moment. She said “What if the red paint isn’t really red paint. What if it was actually a lot worse?” At that moment she heard a loud bang and bolted out of the basement and to the door. But the basement door wouldn’t open. The last thing Jane heard was a very high pitched laugh before everything went black. Anyone else who goes to that cabin will pay the consequences by paying with their life. Now outside staked into the front lawn is a sign that says “Jane was here and still is - 1938” In 2022 a boy named Fred went to the cabin never to be seen again.
