The Birth of Folklore
A collective voice of culture

When we ask how folklore is formed, it can be formed among groups of people who speak the same language in a small group or in a society. Thus, it seems that folklore has a certain collective birth. What people think and desire as a group is represented by folklore. That is, it shows a representation of the collective thinking of man. A person living in society follows a certain behavior because it is true according to the common thinking of the society. Something that someone presents in a way that suits the collective thinking is accepted by everyone. The stories, poems, dances, etc. that we experience today have survived to this day because they were born collectively at some point.
A certain creation becomes an element of folklore very slowly. For it to have a collective birth, it must receive sufficient representation through word of mouth. There may also be changes in its basic design. But its basic content is not much harmed. Accordingly, another point that becomes clear is that a certain element of folklore gets its pronunciation from the relevant culture. Thus, a certain element of folklore is born in the womb of the relevant culture.
Folklore, folk poetry, religious beliefs or beliefs, or any other element of folklore can be seen to influence the society in which it exists in various ways. Folklore provides a great service to the individual and society. That is, providing some education, establishing social control, and acting as a scientific support. If it is analyzed further, one learns the cultural essence and value through folklore. Therefore, being aware of it is a valuable national duty.
