The Big, Beautiful Deal
Sequel to The Return of Elon
“You take our spaceship back home,” the commanding lookalike said.
Elon arched a brow.
“What about you?” he asked. “What about when the Earth’s resources run out?”
“We have a plan for that.”
“Really?”
“Do you doubt us?”
“What is the catch?”
“You can never return. We do not want anyone to think that they can come and go as they please.”
Elon pressed his fingers together as he gave the matter some thought. Did he want to leave behind everything that he had worked for?
“Well?” the commanding lookalike asked.
Elon hesitated but finally nodded.
“We have a deal.”
