The New Dawn
I decided to make a wish for the new year 2024. I knew it was a long shot, since the world was in a mess. But I still hoped for a miracle, and I wanted to see a change, even if it was for the last time. I had written down my wish, a simple but sincere one, that matched my dreams and desires. I had folded it into a paper crane, and placed it on my windowsill. I had whispered it to the stars, and hoped they would listen.
