ALL IN TIME
A scrawny ten year old trudged across an open farmyard dragging a bucket behind her. She was dressed in a loose flowery oversized gown that fell almost to her ankles. A brown untidy hat hid a mass of rich brown hair with tendrils escaping to frame an angelic face that needed a good scrubbing. Hiking up her dress to reveal worn out boots, she climbed a well and stood astride it to draw water. Her father couldn't afford a pulley — amongst other things.

The Doctor and The Baker
In a small town, full of small homes, there were two small taverns. The streets were lined with chunky cobble stones causing the echoes of footsteps to linger and wander about. The approaching winter winds bring short days and long nights. A reminder that soon it will be night all day. In preparation, the mage’s apprentice was casting each lamp post with an undying flame, while others were harvesting crops and gathering goods from the forest that wrapped around the bottom of the town. When the day was night the woods seemed to awaken from an enchanted slumber. It was during this time that the forest was left to itself to regrow and reclaim what was lost. The time when night was day and day was night brought all manner of creatures who awoke with the forest. They skidded and hobbled their way through the small town all the while enduring watchful gazes from the townspeople.

Talk the Talk
“Get out. Get out of my office know. Get out of my office before I have you chopped off at the knees.” Was the bellowing sound of the chief coming from his office. Then the sound of papers rustling could be heard followed closely by a quickly moving Big Willy. Ducking a pencil as he exited the chief’s office he slid around the corner. Moving at Star Trek warp speed he moved into the room and then out of breath he flung him self into the nearest chair as everyone else watched in amazement.
