Asiphe is sitting by the school gate and playing with stones. Asiphe has an afro. A shadow blocks the sun and she looks up. Her big brother is standing in front of her. “Time to go, kid,” he says, taking her backpack. She stands up and they walk away. He is wearing his school uniform and carrying two backpacks. He is in the big school. Asiphe counts in her head how long she has to wait to be in his class. ‘One, two, three, four, five years!’ She still has a long way to go.

Do you have a special place where you like to read? Is it somewhere that feels strange to be empty handed? The ties between what we read and where are sometimes so strong that it is difficult to change. Did you ever try to read say a business book where youd normally sit to read a novel? Did you struggle to get through more than a few pages? Our minds associate certain activities with certain positions and sometimes this can be difficult to break. Instead of trying to fight it, it may be better to find a location to suit the type of reading youd like to do. The structural organization was efficient and effective and not to mention well known and very active in community developments. It was like they wanted own the city, this itself could be although be true, just never told to anyone.

It was like their cadence fit that of a drill instructor: patient, poignant, and to the point. When she could snag an interviewee, she did her best to get the higher ranking agents.
