Garret instructed Corrado to quickly wrap the violin back into its case, then ordered the group to gather their weapons and belongings. Their plan to disassemble the violin remained the same, but the introduction of nearby gunfire, and screaming, added yet another layer of anticipation.

The First Car
2024 Hot, hissing steam, mixed with the bone-rattling rumble of steel wheels grinding against steel tracks, shocked Tyler awake from his deep unconscious state. As he peeled away his cheek from the warm glass window, his eyes adjusted to the light, and the glaze began to fade, allowing his surroundings to become clear. He was sitting alone in a luxurious booth, with a large mahogany table in the center. On that table, was a sweating whiskey glass that was down to its final ice cube.

The Might of Heaven
Marcus explains his dilemma and the chaplain, though he admits no knowledge of command, says that the core of the issue resides in Marcus's fear and self centered concerns. Know his duty, think of others and their duty, and this will give him the clarity to see what he should do. Maybe instead the chaplain realizes this but doesn't say, instead advising Marcus on how to ask for help without admitting fear, allowing him to save face and improve both in the eyes of others and in terms of knowledge. This gives Marcus to have something to think on
