About 5 minutes passed and then Wade walked in with a few insect warriors . It seemed he woke up ! He was guided to us by the insects . Rose greeted him while we were all still busy eating . “Hi wade ! How are you feeling ? Are you hungry ? Wade gave a small smile and replied shortly “ yes , the fish smells sublime . Oh and I’m fine . Sorry I hope you all are feeling well . Now I’ll be helping myself .” Then he scurried off like an animal aware of their primal desires . Some of the guys started drinking the beer we had been saving for after the battle . Visceroy yelled “ cheers , for we celebrate even in defeat !“ We cheered as everyone laughed .

I must’ve passed out again , because I woke up in a small cave room being treated by Rose . " Where are we ?" I asked her. She replied , " We’re in a small cave room and we are honorary guest of the hosts . I am told once everyone is recovered from the poison that the king and queen want to give us a gift ." A gift I thought ? Right , they were grateful that we took took out the giant cyclops . They called it a monster , I guess they still don’t know what it really was . I mean we still don’t really know what it was . John said the giant was taller than any cyclops he’s ever met back home .

MAGISTRATE COURTS DARKEST HOUR
I told him no matter how sacred or secret our bond—that I would look for him everywhere. I would go to the ends of the Earth to find him, knowing deep down that he was gone forever and no one could ever replace him—no matter how hard I tried. I would look for him in every strangers face, in every old photograph. Nothing would ever take the pain away; nothing. The words haunted me. The beautiful words I spoke haunted me. I watched tears spill from myself as I told him I would never forget him; I would hold on until it was safe to let go. I begged him to do the same as I curled up like a child and cried, turning inward; the tears burning my chest until I could no longer breathe. Wishing for time to turn back one day, one week, one month, or one year but that couldn’t change what would happen next. Now, I wish I had one more year, I wish he could see me as I am now, how proud he would be. Of course, it’s the curse of knowledge, of hindsight, of memory, of will-power…and it is fickle. In my last bit of lucidity I promised to protect her, to watch over my mom and keep her safe. I promised to look after my brothers and sisters until the swallowing moons took me away. I promised to do everything in his honor. I fought to hold my composure and be strong for him, and here I sit a ravaging mess consumed by the bitter taste of death…scared to step into that next step, afraid of the unknown…

Wade was using more tactic than brute force . His style relied more on taking out as many enemies as possible . With each strike , rather than using superior speed as well . Using wide deliberate strikes that took out at least 10 insect warriors at a time . Jumping from cave wall to wall , dealing countless casualties to the enemies . This style also helped with keeping his stamina optimal and showed off his brilliance in battle that was gained from wisdom .

We didn’t have much time to ponder and think about how to get out of our dire situation . The insect warrior swarms started to rapidly close in , and at a very frightening pace . Rose looked surprisingly more brave than me at this moment . Even after being frozen by fear when we were attacked by the armored snakes . Everyone looked more brave than me , but in that instant seeing their faces gave me the crazy confidence to smile a little bit .

I braced myself to block one of the electric balls of lightning magic flying towards us . I wasn’t sure how they would deal with the one coming from the other side . I had no choice but to what I could . I was going to block from the rear as we were still in formation except for Rose . The ball came and I still felt a little pain at first , as I thought . Without fully testing I never expected the drill to absorb the full blast . Although my drill still did an amazing job and started to suck the electricity out of the attack before I accumulated any damage .

We kept moving at a medium pace without seeing any insect warriors . We finally reached the divide after around 20 mins of marching through the cave . We paused and looked inside of all three of the paths . We then closely peered down them as fast as we could see . After noticing nothing of significance we went down the larger path . What are those insect warriors up to ? I thought inside of my head as we advanced .
