Got My Eyes On You
Reset your password. Three words that mean either you have forgotten your password, you have given it to someone else and don’t want to allow them access to that particular account anymore or someone has cracked your password and is using your account without permission. That’s what we’re all worried about, isn’t it? Or at least that’s what we should be worried about. But most of us aren't.

The office party
Today marked my 40th year of age which reminds me of a couple of things, mainly my decade-plus dedication to Rephine but I'm glad. I'm sitting in my office wondering about the importance of things, the importance of life and the value of people…the obligatory points for reflection creep up each year. I am genuinely appreciative of my position as one of the 5 Human Resource representatives at one of the 40 most successful Advertising companies in the country. "Rephine's edgy and layered skills solidifies their name", is still one of the best headlines we have ever gotten. "America's under-dog is getting international acclaim", was a good point for us as well.

Reset
“I think it is well beyond time for you to reset your password...” Attorney Charles Strom spoke from across his mahogany desk “…for everything, Ms. Janovsky.” He paused to look at me for what I could assume was dramatic effect, “Mr. Elliott will seek to do this again with any and every account he can, and if you don’t get this taken care of, we might have more to clean up next time.”

Bricked
My heart crashes when I see the villainous barista behind the counter. It’s not the kind of crash where my heart simply abandons its duty. It’s the crash of a toddler who's just learned that skipping exists and promptly trips and bashes their head into a piece of furniture. This barista is not my barista. My barista is Gary. That slightly overweight brown-haired guy is not here and this is a sign that my life is likely in very real danger. Gary and his extremely punch-able face are not behind the counter waiting with my usual. Gary’s not here to deal out an overenthusiastic greeting, hand me my coffee and send me on my way. I’m frozen, like a computer weighed down by too much input. The petite brunette behind the counter is either going to serve me a delicious handcrafted coffee based beverage or pull a Ruger 1911 and blast me into the afterlife.
